Manchester City commanded by the Argentinian Sergio Agüero, defeated at Ethiad Stadium the current champion of the Barclays Premier League, Chelsea 3-0, and now remain at the bottom of the table with only 1 of the 6 disputed points.
The London club has entered the 2015-16 season without knowing what is a victory, they lost the English Supercup against Arsenal (1-0), they drew in the first matchday against Swansea City(2-2) and now they have fallen to Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester City.
Bosnian goalkeeper Asmir Begovic kept the ‘blues’ in the match within the first minutes after making two clear saves in the one-on-one with Sergio Agüero. After the first 30 minutes, Man City would finally strike. A great combination between Yaya Toure and Agüero allowed the Argentinian to make a left foot strike.
The match opened after half time, Chelsea would look for the equalizer. They looked directly on to the box of Joe Hart, but there was little precision. 25 minutes into the second half, Eden Hazard had the chance to score the equalizer after a combination with Diego Costa, though Joe Hart would deny it. After this, any hope for Chelsea would faint. First David Silva would take a corner and belgium defender Vincent Kompany scored a header, just like last week.
A couple minutes later, Manchester City would make it 3-0. A good pass from Silva to Fernandinho allowed the Brazilian to take a strong shot just outside the box and the ball ended in the back of the net.
Manchester City remains first with 6 of 6 points and 6 goals scored.
