Netflix’s Jessica Jones Date And First Trailer Released

Marvel‘s second show to appear on Netflix, Jessica Jones, has officially got a release date and trailer.

Jessica Jones will premiere on Netflix on November 20th (happy birthday to me) and will star Krysten Ritter as the title character. David Tennant, Rachel Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Mike Colter who will be playing Luke Cage will first appear in Jessica Jones.

Jessica Jones is a smaller Marvel character so many of you might not know who she is, so let me catch you and hopefully without any major spoilers. Jessica Jones is a former super heroine who has decided to stop fighting crime and becomes a private detective. She has been romantically involved with the hero Luke Cage, and even married him in The New Avengers Annual #1. Jones gained her powers after a collision with a military vehicle carrying radioactive characters. She became known as the heroine Jewel but after certain dark events led her to be forgotten she gave up the hero life and became a private detective.

Jessica Jones will be a 13 episode series that will be a part of the Marvels Cinematic Universe. The series will largely start off The Defenders series that will be coming soon. The Defenders will also star Daredevil, whose series is already on Netflix. Along with the two newer series that are set to come out at a later time, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
