Brace yourself as all your childhood nostalgia is about to come flooding back. We have our first teaser trailer for John Favreau‘s version of The Jungle Book. I have to say Favreau’s version because besides this one, which has an April 2016 release date, is actually one of 2 versions being released. Andy Serkis will be making his directorial debut in October 2017 for Jungle Book: Origins.
The Jungle Book is directed by John Favreau, the director of Iron Man, and stars Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Christopher Walken, and Lupita Nyong’o. The first footage was released at D23 just last month and was reportedly the only footage to get a standing ovation. It even included a bit of Bill Murray’s Baloo singing the ever famous song , Bare Necessities, unfortunately we only get a little sneak peak of that at the very end. The movie is set for April 15th 2016, and with the star studded cast, groundbreaking effects, and famed director it looks as though it will not disappoint.
