As many of us await for the anticipated “Captain America: Civil War“, spoilers just keep reaching the surface. This time is about our beloved Spider-Man who is now able to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to a deal between Sony and Marvel. Which means that there are no limits as to what our Spidey can do and where can he belong.
Spider-Man will make his debut in Civil War played by young British actor Tom Holland. It was speculated that he was going to be a 17 years old Peter Parker as he goes through high school. In an interview with Empire, future Spider-Man director, Jon Watts, clarified that he would be younger than we expected: “There are only so many times you can kill Uncle Ben… I love the idea of making a coming-to-age high school movie. We’re really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He’s just 15 now.”
Exploring a more younger side of the hero can be a fresh change to the audience, considering he would have a third reboot after his appereace in CW. It would also mean that we’ll get to see more of Uncle Ben without being killed in the beginning of every first Spider-Man movie.
‘Captain America: Civil War’ will hit theaters on May 6 for the anticipated confrontation between some of our favorite Avengers.
