Fall TV Superhero Preview
Season 4 Begins on October 7th
Network: The CW
Airs: Wednesdays at 8 p.m
Following a third season that drew some sharp criticism and dislike from both critics and diehard fans alike, Arrow has a lot of work to do to maintain its position atop the superhero lineup on not only the CW network but also all of the television lineup. The Flash saw great success in its first season which has caused even more criticism on Arrow for being both too serious and rehashing too many overused plot points.
The Arrow stars Stephen Amell as the masked archer who finished out season three by dropping the Arrow moniker in an attempt to settle down with girlfriend Felicity Smoak (Emily Betts Rickard). With the demise of Ra’s al Ghul at the end of season three and the rise of both Malcolm Merlyn as the head of the demon and Damien Darhk as a new thorn in the side of Queen, season four should have plenty of opportunity to gain back some of the lost trust following the less than stellar season three.
