The Truth Is Still Out There: X-Files trailer releases

After nine seasons and two feature films, the longest running science fiction series, The X-Files, will be returning to television. The six-part miniseries will reunite Agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) this upcoming January when the duo continue to find the truth.

This will be the first time that Duchovny, Anderson and show creator Chris Carter are reunited since the movie The X-Files: I Want to Believe, which hit theaters in 2001. The show also returns characters like The Smoking Man (William B. Davis), Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and Agent Monica Reyes (Annabeth Gish) from the original show and brings in new characters like Tad O’Malley played by Joel McHale and Agents Miller and Einstein played by Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose, respectively.

Fans of the show new and old can also binge watch the original series on Netflix before the revival. Below is the full trailer for the revival show, be sure to give your thoughts on the revival below in the comments!
