James Bond has been a cinematic staple since the 1960s when Sean Connery owned the role. Throughout the years, Ian Fleming‘s iconic British spy has been one of the most enduring on-screen presences and has thrilled countless generations with his uniquely suave and ultra-cool sensibilities. It has now nearly been 10 years since Daniel Craig put on the tux and jumped into the Aston Martin in Casino Royale. With two instant classics and only one less-than-stellar entry under his belt, Craig has certainly given one of the series’ most effective portrayals of Agent 007. The release of his fourth Bond adventure, entitled Spectre, is fast approaching, and now is a perfect opportunity to take a look back at the 53-year history of Bond, James Bond.
