Pop songstress Sia has once again teamed up with regular producer Greg Kurstin, for a new song entitled “Never Give Up”. This Bollywood inspired song is taken from the new movie ‘Lion’. The film is based on a true story and stars Dev Patel as a Indian-Australian businessman who uses Google Earth to track down the family he was accidentally separated from while growing up in India. Also starring in this feature is Rooney Mara who plays his girlfriend and the incredible Nicole Kidman who appears in a supporting role as his adoptive mother.

“Never Give Up” is one of the many new tracks Sia released last month on the deluxe edition of her album “This Is Acting”. The deluxe edition was released on October 21st, and Sia added seven new tracks to the original 12. The include her recent single “The Greatest” which features rapper Kendrick Lamar, and three previously unheard songs “Confetti”, “Jesus Wept” and “Midnight Decisions”.

So far “This Is Acting” has peaked at number three on the UK charts, number four on the US charts and number one on the Australian charts, since being released in January. The amazing thing about this album which Sia disclosed, was “This Is Acting” is full of songs that she had written for other artists but were rejected. “I’m calling it ‘This Is Acting’ because they are songs I was writing for other people. So I didn’t go in thinking ‘this is something I would say’. It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun,” she explained.

“Never Give Up” is available now, and like all of Sia’s songs expect to hear this on radio airwaves soon, as I think this will bullet to the top quite rapidly.
