As one third of the Migos, Quavo has become so influential in the rap industry today probably more than anyone at the moment. Between popularizing the dab and pioneering the most electric flow in recent history, the rapper who was born Quavius Keyate Marshall is busy getting recognition for his guest vocals on some of hip hops hottest tracks at the moment. Quavo has almost become ATL royalty, and the world wants a piece of him now more than ever. Migos recently dropped there brand new album, but the loyal member has come out and released a solo LP of his own entitled “ATL”.

Quavo has just come off some deadly features on tracks such as DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One,” Machine Gun Kelly’s “Trap Paris” and “Go Off” which features on the new Fast And The Furious soundtrack. The first single from his debut project is entitled “Paper Over Here” which is produced by OG Parker. The track is as close to a trap song you can get, which has hot bars dropped over elctronics. The Atlanta MC brags about all the “new paper” he has coming in, and with all his solo success it’s not hard to see the truth in the lyrics.

Migos new album “Culture” so far has had huge success, debuting at number one on the Billboard charts and following that “ATL” is due to probably follow the same suite. Quavo isn’t just going to stop there though, he is currently working on a joint album with rapper Travis Scott and just featured on the recent song released by Liam Payne entitled “Strip That Down”. So what sets Quavo apart from those chart milestones that Migos has achieved recently, well it’s Quavo mind and direction that these hits are pulled from. His success has less to do with exploiting or capitalizing off of streaming loopholes than reflecting his soaring popularity. Those calling Quavo overexposed at the moment have their arguments, but clearly the demand for his music right now is undeniable.

What can you expect from this project? Well it show cases that Migos sound, and Quavo brings along a few of his friends to feature on this album including the other members of Migos, Ty Dolla $ign and PARTYNEXTDOOR to name a few. Migos are currently headlining a world tour which will take them all through the US, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. If you’re a fan of Migos music that no doubt you will be a fan of this solo album “ATL” from Quavo, and you can no doubt expect to hear some of the singles hitting the radio stations near you. Ultimately this solo adventure was never in doubt, but fans of Migos need not worry as the group will not be departing any time soon, another Migos album “Culture 2” is apparently in the works.
