The Almost Royal Hollywood Story Of Kylie Jenner ♥ Travis Scott

The world of gossip came alive last year when rumors circulated that Kylie Jenner was pregnant to her then rumored boyfriend Travis Scott. The youngest daughter of Kardashian matriarch almost went into hiding over the 9 months and with that the flames that were burning around this rumor slowly whittled away. No real confirmation about the relationship or pregnancy was evident until the 4th of February, when Jenner released a statement announcing the birth of her daughter. “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark,” she wrote to her fans. “My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.” Still questions remain around Kylie and why her last relationship with rapper Tyga ended and how this new found romance began with Travis Scott. What we do know is Jenner 20 and Scott 25 have been dating since April 2017, and a source from People Magazine claims that Jenner told them that her new relationship is different to the one she had with Tyga, saying “Kylie had a lot of trust issues with Tyga,” explained the source. “He was her first love and she was obsessed with him, but she never felt like she could trust him 100 percent. With Travis, things got really serious fast, even though she was still getting over Tyga. He’s very protective of Kylie, and his family embraced her, too. Kylie has matured a lot since becoming pregnant. She’s much less dramatic than when she was with Tyga.”

Jenner released an 11-minute long video documenting the entire process of her new found birth. The YouTube video called “To Our Daughter”, poses as an intimate family film with an audience of one, with Jenner’s friends and family talking to the new child. But being a Kardashian video we know that it is intended for the public eye, and has reached a much wider audience tallying well over 20 million views in just the first 12 hours it was released. It addresses a lot of things including Jenner embracing motherhood, her absence from the spotlight, and also gives us a peak into the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” which will document Kylie’s pregnancy in their traditional TV format. Sure a lot of people hate the Kardashian’s, but you can’t deny the fact that they’ve secretly somehow become TV royalty, and the 20 million plus viewers of this video are a good example of just how much of a household name the Kardashian’s have become.

“To Our Daughter” is a great strategy yet again by the Kardashian’s of how they have manage to grow their celebrity brand with excellent management. The video professes all the qualities people seek in good viewing, intimacy, beauty, and even that 90’s home made video style, to draw parallels between her pregnancy and her own birth in 1997. Not only does the footage become relatable but it almost become inspirational, displaying Jenner’s baby shower one minute, and praises from her family members and friends the next. Kylie Jenner over the past 5 years has become an icon, almost a brand name in its self, a millionaire businesswoman who’s sole purpose as depicted by the short movie, was motherhood. From North West, to Dream all the Kardashian births have become ground breaking news, and now the birth of Stormi, Jenner’s child is no different.

Father Travis Scott took to Twitter after the birth to make his announcement tweeting: ‘2.1.18 / 4 ever / New rager in town. !!!’ It wasn’t evident to me or anyone else for that matter ’til this video was posted just how much love and adoration has grown between these two. Both had met up with each other through concerts and events and even during the 20 year old’s ultrasounds, also sharing the time with Travis mum who seemed overjoyed by the addition to the family. What this short video managed to do was show a different side of rapper Travis Scott, a more softer side as he can be seen in the video saying to Stormi whilst rubbing her head “Daddy’s here. Daddy’s here.”
