‘INsiders Guide’ Artist Of The Week : WOLVES

This LA based band has made a name for themselves by creating their own blend of unique sounds by marrying pop with bold rock and roll and urban beats. They return with a new single called “Freaky”, which is an energetic urban hit that’s already showing hints of Jason DeRulo and Chris Brown. Consisting of Marc Avery, Sean Carney, and Rockwell Sands, the Los Angeles based trio have created their own style, by combining their influences of Michael Jackson, the Eagles and Coldplay. With each member hailing from various cultural backgrounds, WOLVES have crafted their own distinct style, shaping the sound of pop culture as we know it.

The band was named after the characteristics of wolves. These majestic animals which are bonded by a pack and move in harmony as one unit towards a common goal. “I can’t think of a better way to describe us. The three of us are all about the good of the group; every day we try to embody that philosophy in our music and beyond.” remarks Avery. The new single “Freaky” is an inspirational track to others to embrace who you are, and to share your inner most desires to the world. The instrumentals of this single are quite similar to what we’ve heard in the urban grooves of the 90’s, and is certainly a song you can dance to. They’ve earned top spots on the Billboard charts and heavy play on Sirius XM and now they hope to capture the ears of a global following.

I absolutely love this song, and with the band already making traction on the Billboard charts there’s no doubt WOLVES are the ones to watch.
