‘Bad Boys 3’ Is Back and Mike Myers Returning In ‘Austin Powers 4’, Plus Eminem’s New Movie ‘Bodied’
Finally it’s official, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are returning for their huge action blockbuster film ‘Bad Boys 3’. Will Smith announced the news in an video on Instagram, to his 24.4 million followers.
The video managed to rack up more than 6 million views and 96,000 comments in under 24 hours. Lawrence also took to Instagram to confirm the news, writing: “It’s official. Bad Boys for Life.” The third installment in the series of movies will be titled “Bad Boys For Life” and is expected to film in 2019 with a release date set for 17 January 2020.
Mike Myers has revealed that “Austin Powers 4 “is ”looking good” and revealed one of his classic characters will be making a comeback “soon”. The “Austin Powers” trilogy has become a cult classic, and normally it’s best kept that way, but that does’t seem to be stopping Myers and the series creators. We’ll be seeing an “Austin Powers 4” sooner rather than later Myers said, but the format might be different from what we’re used to.
Myers told TV show ‘Entertainment Tonight’ that the fourth installment would be focused more from the perspective of Dr. Evil as much as it would the unfrozen spy’s. Myers would presumably be joined once again by the director of all three movies, Jay Roach.
YouTube Originals have released the first official trailer for “Bodied,” the latest feature film from music video director Joseph Kahn and rap star Eminem. Kahn has directed music videos for a variety of artists, from Lady Gaga to Taylor Swift, to Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.
Set in Oakland’s underground rap battle scene, “Bodied” features former Disney Channel star Calum Worthy as a grad student who finds himself unexpectedly skilled at rhyming. It’s the choice of the lead actor for the main role of this film, that has me quite uneasy. He doesn’t seem to fit into the cast for the entire trailer of the movie. Also this story seems to be quite similar to what we saw in Eminem’s blockbuster ‘8Mile’, with a few tweaks here and there.
Eminem though wants you to come out and see his new movie “Bodied.” The rapper tweeted Thursday he bought out a metro Detroit movie theater so fans can view the film he produced for free. The free screenings will be held Friday and Saturday in Sterling Heights.
