Environmental activist musical collective known as Trapdoor Social have just released a new single called “The Move”. This new track is inspired by the idea of a growing movement of people who want to leave the world better than they found it. This infectious single has a flowing and funky alternative rock vibe, one filled with energy and passion. It’s vocals and chorus are so contagious it won’t ever leave your head.
About to return with their third full length album “Pulsing Synchronicity”, which is set to be released as a series of stand-alone singles throughout 2019. Venice-based trio The Great Escape unleashes a brand new track “Possibilities”, an incredibly sweet and sexy, psychedelic song that narrates a story about life’s countless possibilities. This single encapsulates The Great Escape’s new approach perfectly; playful, sexy and flirtatious, the instrumentals manage to feel confident and mysterious at the same time. The Great Escape continue to break new ground visually as well: The cover art to “Possibilities” is the first in a series of 9 original artworks created to accompany each track (8 tracks plus album cover) – a spectacular collaboration with up-and-coming artist Gino Belassen from Phoenix, AZ that is going to see its gallery premiere once all tracks are unleashed. Make sure you don’t miss out on this.
Musician and visual artist Young & Sick (who’s real name is Nick van Hofwegen) has released a brand new single called “Jet Black Heart.” The song is taken from Young & Sick’s new EP due out in spring 2019 via Neon Gold Records / B3SCI Records. On the new track, Nick describes, “JET BLACK HEART is a song about all consuming love. The kind who’s intensity paralyses you. The sort that makes you lose it completely. It’s the LOVE I feel for making music and art.”
Young & Sick is currently on a North American tour with The Knocks as support.
