Miley Cyrus is a woman of many alter egos, her most recent from an episode of Black Mirror where Cyrus plays pop star Ashley O. In the episode “Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too,” Cyrus sings a song called “On a Roll,” and if you’re one of many who thought it was a hit, you’re in luck! Netflix has released Ashley O’s music to streaming services everywhere.
It’s a re-worked version of the Nine Inch Nails song of the same name from the band’s 2015 album With Teeth, and Trent Reznor took to Twitter to share his reluctant approval. He tweeted the song with the caption: “Feels like I’ve been here before…? #blackmirror #mileycyrus #ashleyo #goddamnitthisisactuallyprettygoodandidontknowwhoiamanymore.”
Even though Ashley O is a fictional pop star, we’d have to agree with Reznor: It’s a good song. Also, there are rumors that Ashley O will be dropping an EP very soon.
