“Yet another example of the entertainment industry finding work arounds to keep events moving whilst also complying with COVID safety regulations. This shot is from the Christian Siriano Fashion Show, which was hosted at the designer’s home in Connecticut. This was one of the few live shows from New York Fashion Week.”

Siriano is a former winner of the fashion design competition TV series “Project Runway,” and in recent years, he’s made a name for himself because of his size-inclusive runway shows and clothes. Siriano was also an early US-based designer to volunteer to use his facilities and fabric to make face masks for essential workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. On September 17, the designer transformed the backyard of his Westport, Connecticut, home, into a full-fledged runway show that showcased his Spring/Summer 2021 collection.

Taking to Twitter the rapper announced the fast food partnership writing, “CACTUS JACK FOR MCDONALD’S,” alongside a photo of fries in the shape of the Cactus Jack face logo. Scott’s favorite McDonald’s meal was available for a limited time from September 8 to October 4 in participating locations. In addition to the meal, Scott and McDonald’s also supported charitable organizations throughout the month-long partnership. Cactus Jack designed custom apparel for the fast food chain as well. The partnership accounts for the first time since 1992 that a celebrity’s name is featured on the McDonald’s menu. The last person to be included was none other than Michael Jordan.

“Though it feels like a decade ago, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s unforgettable performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show took place just in February.”

The Kansas City Chiefs won the US Super Bowl in February — but if you pay any attention to Twitter, the most important achievement happened at half-time. Latina singers Jennifer Lopez and Shakira delivered hip-shaking choreography and a medley of infectious hits at the event’s half-time show, which is arguably just as iconic as the football game itself. Twitter lit up in support of the performers, with more people tweeting about Shakira than using the hashtag #SuperBowl.

“The 2020 VMAs was a show like no other. This shot of Lady Gaga accepting her Best Collaboration award for “Rain on Me” in an extravagant mask is so extraordinary as it marks the start of the entertainment industry’s “new normal” approach to award ceremonies.”

Lady Gaga is always one to make a statement, no matter the event, and at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards it was no different. From her red carpet appearance, in bubble head gear no less, to her impressive “Rain on Me” performance alongside Ariana Grande, Gaga — with the help of her stylist Nicola Formichetti — she’s proven wearing a mask, even while singing and dancing on stage is 100 per cent possible, and doesn’t have to come at the cost of style, either.

“Katy Perry performed at the Fight On Concert in regional Victoria to support firefighters and communities affected by the devastating bushfires impacting the state. This shot of her taking a selfie with the firies is such a joyous portrayal of the global support Australia got during this tough time.”

The American pop singer went out on stage clad in a high-vis dress with matching eye shadow and earrings for the Fight On concert at Pioneer Park Reserve in the Victorian town of Bright to raise money for the bushfire relief. The Alpine Shire estimated the summer bushfires and associated smoke had cost the local tourism industry $90 million, while Tourism North East estimated up to $208 million dollars would be lost across the entire region for the March 2020 quarter. The locals rallied together in hopes the concert will raise much-needed funds, Perry said the real reason she decided on the small Victorian town was closer to heart.

“It reminded me of home,” she said.

“It’s quite surreal to think that this high energy shot of Jessica Mauboy performing at the Fire Fight Australia concert was taken this year. The concert, which took place in Sydney on February 16th, aimed to raise funds for National Bushfire Relief in the midst of one of Australia’s worst bushfire seasons. Strange to think that this was one of the last concerts of the year, before COVID took over.”

“Who could forget this iconic shot of Brad and Jen’s reunion backstage at the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards? This shot alone, taken by one of our lucky photographers, ignited a global wave of nostalgia for the pair’s couple-hood days.”

The last time Jennifer Aniston won a Screen Actors Guild award, she was starring on Friends and had yet to date her future ex-husband Brad Pitt. Now, over 20 years and a few relationships later, both Aniston and Pitt became winners again at the 26th annual SAG Awards – and they proved once and for all that there’s no bad blood between them.
