“Kinda Into You” is about young infatuation, and centers around those initial feelings you have for someone before you really know who they are. That person may be perfect in your head, and although you don’t quite know them yet, you’re excited to find out.

The music video for the track is a dreamy and playful roller-skating retro extravaganza, written by and co-directed by Victoria with long-time video collaborator Brock Newman.

“I only learned how to roller skate a week and a half before shooting” says Victoria. “I’ve come up with some crazy and complex ideas for my previous music videos, but this one included the extra challenge of learning a new skill.”

It’s Jade Hilton! I’m excited to share my brand new album, Unrequited, about fleeting experiences in the evolution of love: lust, attraction, attachment, and rejection.
Unrequited is out now everywhere. Start with the video for “Not My Type” on YouTube.

The idea behind “Not My Type” is that you can have lighthearted fun with someone, even if it’s momentary. In university, I dated the pretty boy with blue eyes on the baseball team knowing that I wouldn’t stay with him forever. Some relationships just aren’t meant to last, but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t experience them.

The giant chessboard represents the complicated game of love, which can in turn be calculated and manipulative. I embody the strong, empowering queen among her chess pieces, that illustrate the partners who have been in my life. I want listeners to know that they are not defined by their relationships. They have the power to lead and become themselves. A woman does not need a man, but she can always choose her king.

Thanks for listening!

Quality Control’s Bankroll Freddie continues to apply pressure on the game using his newest single, “Pickin’ Sides” to announce his next project, From Trap To Rap 2. The new single comes equipped with a set of directed visuals showcasing Freddie and Vezzo trading bars. Listen to “Pickin’ Sides” here. Watch the music video for “Pickin’ Sides” here.

As the lead track, “Pickin’ Sides” proves From Trap To Rap 2 will pick up where its predecessor left off, putting Freddie’s growling delivery atop potent production work. With features from Money Man, Lil Baby, Icewear Vezzo, and more – including a posthumous feature from Young Dolph – Freddie will yet again prove he belongs in rap’s upper echelon and is more than ready to be one of Quality Control’s brightest stars.

In between the From Trap To Rap episodes, Freddie released his Big Bank album in 2021 earning praise from the likes of HipHopDX, Flood Magazine, and XXL, and dropped his viral hit “Pop It” ft. Megan Thee Stallion. Freddie recently performed with Key Glock in Atlanta, the first night of Glock’s nationwide tour, and shared “Broke ASF,” which is also slated to appear on From Trap To Rap 2.  With his foot fully on the gas and a potent project on the way, Freddie’s 2022 takeover is in full effect.

Starting to catch fire as a contender on the East Coast, buzzing Bed-Stuy rapper Moneymade Eli unleashes a new single and music video entitled “Tippity Top” via Motown Records. Listen to “Tippity Top”HERE. Watch the music video for “Tippity Top”HERE.

On the track, cymbals skitter in the background at a tense pace as Moneymade Eli lyrically doubles back and forth over the beat with razor sharp rhymes. It builds towards a hypnotic and head-nodding hook as he promises, “I’m taking this shit to the tippity top.” In the accompanying visual, he turns up around New York in a train station and outside by a new black Benz as snow falls around him.

It notably arrives on the heels of “Nina & Him.” The music video amassed over 107K YouTube Views and counting, while Hood Saviors declared, Motown’s Newest Artist Moneymade Eli is up next.

With more music in the chamber, Moneymade Eli’s well on his way to the “Tippity Top.

Esteemed artist Vince Staples today debuted his latest album Ramona Park Broke My Heartvia Blacksmith Recordings / Motown Records.  To celebrate the release – a tribute to the Ramona Park neighborhood in Long Beach where he grew up – Staples announced Ramona Park Broke My Heart The Musical, a special cinematic performance that will be exclusively presented via the premium global social live media platform Moment House on May 1 and May 2 (depending on territory). The experience will see him performing songs from the brand-new album, as well as music spanning his complete catalog within an immersive visual environment that’s directly inspired by Ramona Park Broke My Heart. Tickets go on sale today at 11am ET at momenthouse.com/vincestaples. A special edition of the album featuring exclusive artwork will be available at Target on April 22.

BIA underlines her international appeal on irresistible new single “London,” out today via Epic Records. The braggadocious track, which features Grammy-winning rap icon J Cole, is heavily influenced by U.K. drill — albeit with a swagger that is all BIA’s own. Listen HERE. The record is produced by AzizTheShake and co producers Jon Glass & Tim Nihan.

The accompanying music video is set in an overcast London, but the Boston-bred artist’s starpower shines through (as does her drip) the British gloom. Watch HERE.

From perfectly placed high-fashion name drops to pristine, U.K. slang-filled bars – “He never met no one like me / It’s pretty funny how now they all like me, innit?”  BIA’s “London” is a winning mix of style and smarts. Cole also stays on theme, rapping: “Blokes going broke tryin’ to keep up with Cole, but I make it back soon as I spend it.” Both MCs bring their A-game.

The dynamic visual similarly celebrates all things British with Instagram-ready scenes from the U.K. capital. BIA shops at the most luxurious stores during the day, and then struts down the sidewalk — Cruella de Vil-style, flanked by two dalmatians — at night. The multi-talented artist then hosts a tea party, before sailing down the Thames with Cole.

LOVELY is the first new music to follow up Hot Freak’s breakout success of PUPPY PRINCESS (28 million Spotify streams) and fan favorite PAYCHECK 2 PAYCHECK. This is the first of four singles that will eventually compromise the LOVELY EP set for a May Release. With their rocketing success of PUPPY PRINCESS on TikTok and Spotify, the band has grown a rabid, organic core fan base virally as well as naturally by word of mouth and the band’s personal and passionate direct connection with their fans. The year is 2013, new words “twerk” and “selfie” have just been added to the dictionary and YouTube is buzzing with the new Harlem Shake trend before Instagram supported video posts. It was in these simpler times when Minneapolis quintet Hot Freaks released their first, and (for now) last LP. Their debut record, the self-titled “Hot Freaks” collects 10 tight tracks of winsome yet up-beat indie-pop produced with a glossy, highly danceable disco sheen that counteracts a yearning lyrical melancholia– reminiscent of famous over-sharers of Montreal and sensitive symbolists Voxtrot, with a touch of MGMT’s unbridled charisma.

$NOT just dropped the video for “Benzo” – Watch Here. “Benzo” is second in line for most brash track on Ethereal (closely following “Doja” with A$AP Rocky, of course) and the video is equally thrash. $NOT is joyriding in his 90s 500SL Benz to a party with his crew of roadsters popping wheelies on dirt bikes through South Florida. Just like the dynamic, synth infused beat, the “Benzo” video is chaotic and combative, but pure fun. $NOT did have to slow it down for a moment to fulfill his lifelong dream of running a gas station. Seriously, the man loves the store. “Benzo” was directed by NOTACHANCE, who also directed last week’s “5AM” video.

After amassing over 3 billion streams to date, RIAA triple-platinum certified Texas-based pop duo Surfaces return with the official video for their latest single “I Can’t Help But Feel.” Watch it HERE.

Marking their grand return and the next era of Forrest and Colin’s musical career, the pair dropped “I Can’t Help But Feel” last Friday. In less than a week, it has already garnered over 1.5 million streams and was hailed by Rolling Stone who called the track, “fresh, breezy and a lot of fun.”

Los Angeles, California- Prolific writer and platinum selling producer Nick Cozine otherwise known as, MNYS has released the single “Panic Again” on Pure Noise Records.Panic Again” is the importance of having support around you no matter what.” says MNYS.  “The world can make you feel really small. Everyone has an opinion on what you should/shouldn’t be doing and it’s easy to get caught up in that whirlwind of thoughts. It can be overwhelmingly suffocating.  Working on this with two other writers that are married-I think we subconsciously were in agreeance that our partners were exactly that support for us. “You tell me it’s all okay and it all just floats away”-the worries, the doubt, the negative thoughts”

Montreal songwriter and producer Jesse Mac Cormack has released his new single “All At Once,” from his upcoming album SOLO.Mac Cormack has also shared a live performance video of the track, directed by Félix-Antoine Boutin & Thomas Leblanc-Murray.Of the shoot, Félix-Antoine describes: “to clash with the title of Jesse’s new album, SOLO, I decided to recreate that unique energy that musicians have amongst themselves, without artifice, behind the scenes. As a theatre director,” he continues, “I enjoy highlighting the essence and the sincerity of a live performance. Thomas Leblanc Murray, as a director with a great rhythmic sense, allowed our ideas to reach their full potential.”

Southern California alt/rock outfit Private Island is self described as “an approachable band from Southern California”. Growing up just outside of Los Angeles, the band came together in an organic way, officially forming in the summer of 2013 following band members Tommy Nickerson and Roger Mawer’s graduation from music school. With their musical education complete and a stretch of summer days ahead, they penned their first EP A Good Look, taking a dive into the alt/rock realm of tunes alongside current front-man Christian Lum, guitar player Cameron Anderson, and former members Tim Barbour and Michelle Guerrero (alongside Mawer who is no longer a part of the 3-piece project). With a whimsical flair to songwriting, their lyrics are inspired by ‘in-jokes’ and tales of good and bad times with friends. The new single “Trippin’” is the lead single off their forthcoming EP and gives a sense of that playful spirit; reverberating with boisterous percussion, energetic guitar riffs and hazy vocals. Talking about the song, the band reveal, “Trippin’, is about Christian’s sewage water leaking into his roommates room, which is directly underneath his own. Walking downstairs to see how he was doing, Christian finds him carefree, sitting at his desk with his shirt off, wearing a moisturizing clay face mask, as if nothing was wrong. The upcoming EP is entirely self-written, produced and engineered in band member Christian’s home studio in Sherman Oaks. Showcasing the band’s true vision and identity, the EP covers a wide spectrum of emotions and genres, with the end sound sometimes evolving into something unexpected. Speaking on the EP, they reveal, “The first sounds you hear on the EP are pretty ethereal.” With tracks that lend themselves to a selection of scenarios, they continue, “I think there’s a couple that are hypey tunes for on the way to a party, and other tunes for leaving the party.”Performing headline shows at prestigious venues across Los Angeles including The Roxy and El Rey Theatre, there is no doubt Private Island has the aptitude to thrive in this coming year.

Following on from the enigmatic track “Everything I Do”, Norwegian artist and producer Maud returns with latest Rollercoaster form up-coming EP In My Haven.

An uplifting electro-dance track, written and produced by Maud, her raw and revealing lyricism on “Rollercoaster” morphs the paralyzing effects of self-doubt, into a rousing feel-good song to help you overcome the darker days. Featuring Maud’s signature bright, airy vocals, the gradually building production lifts the track from ambient beginnings to an energetic new level as the triumphant synth beat kicks in. Thanks to Maud’s emotional vulnerability, “Rollercoaster” opens the door as an inspirational anthem reminding listeners to feel the ups and downs of life, reassuring them that it’s ok.

Debuting an evolved sound in 2022 after the release of her self-titled debut album, Maud’s forthcoming EP finds a new home for her voice. Determined to preserve her artistic expression in an industry where control can be taken away, she continues to take charge of all elements of her music as the artist, composer, producer, singer, instrumentalist, programmer and mixing engineer – finding liberation in this approach.

American singer-songwriter and actress Alison Sudol shares intimate new single ‘Peaches’Stream ‘Peaches’ Here.

Released ahead of her upcoming support dates with Goldfrapp at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 April, and a day before the UK release of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore’, in which Alison reprises her role as Queenie Goldstein, ‘Peaches’ is the first single taken from Alison forthcoming album due later in the year.

Delivered with bare-bones songwriting, hushed vocals, ‘Peaches’ is a deeply personal paean to motherhood. The intricate, yet delicate arrangement – built through sparse guitars, drums, bass and synths – is skilfully constructed around Alison’s vocal harmonies, which carry her autobiographical tales with mature delivery and poetic undertones. The single gives us a first glimpse into Alison’s upcoming album, which she wrote, co-produced and recorded with London based multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer Chris Hyson, who is also half of adventurous collective Snowpoet in Wales at Giant Wafer Studios, during Summer 2020.

“We came up with the foundation of ‘Peaches’ in the studio in Wales, sitting in the sun during an insane heat wave, looking out over sheep fields,” says Alison. Opening about the inspiration behind the track, she unveils; “the framework of the song came almost immediately but the words were slow. Several months later, with a nearly finished record, ‘Peaches’ still had no lyrics. My partner and I were talking about trying again for a child after our loss. I kept dreaming of this little baby girl. The dreams were so vivid, so real it was like she was right there, but I had no idea if I could bring a child into the world. The dreams made me long for her so much it was dizzying, but painful too, knowing it might never happen. The lyrics finally came. Three weeks later our daughter was conceived”.

‘Break The Fall’ is the latest in a string of releases by award-winning singer/songwriter Jamie Alimorad. An uplifting, drum-sample led groove supports Jamie’s radio-ready vocals in this vulnerable, heartfelt track, about reassuring the one you love that you’ll be there for them when the weight of the world becomes too much.

“‘Break The Fall’” is one of the most honest songs I’ve ever written,” says Alimorad. “I was growing closer to someone, and she had a lot of walls up. I knew whatever, or whoever, hurt her in the past, the cuts were deep. She’s an incredibly strong individual, and one night she began to open up to me. I wanted to be there for her in any way I could, but also knew it was her journey to see through. Once I got back in the studio, the song came together very quickly.”

Written with and produced by songwriting heavyweight Ross Vannelli (Earth, Wind & Fire, Celine Dion, Richard Marx), this earnest pop track is the follow up to Alimorad’s New Music Weekly #1 single “Give A Little Lovin’”, and is perfect for fans of Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Sting.

Break The Fall by Jamie Alimorad

Combining heavy bass, buzzing sawtooth synths, and “catch you on the first listen hooks”, “FK ME UP” is an unapologetically apathetic and relatable track about allowing yourself to break down and embrace life as a chaotic process. The trippy, purple-hued, accompanying visual shows a parallel love story about giving in to the potential of heartbreak: “Just f**k me up till it gets easier to love”. His highly refined sounding debut arrives with a roster of talented collaborators, including mixing from David Levin (Blood Orange, Tove Lo). SAiiNT will be releasing a string of new singles through 2022, in addition to returning to the live circuit this summer.

Country singer, Stephan Hogan is thrilled to release his new single “Wouldn’t Want Me” that is out now. Stephan says“’Wouldn’t Want Me’ engulfs you in a nostalgic trip with its classic country base and retro vibe that lives at the cutting edge and brings you right back to the late 80’s and early 90s” Hailing from the state of sunsets and blue skies, Stephan Hogan said, “So Long California,” when he made the move to Nashville a few years ago to pursue his dreams. He started playing the guitar at 5 years old and recording music in his room as a teen. He now writes, records, and produces all of his music to ensure he achieves the feel-good vibes that possess an addictive quality.
