A new film following NBA Legend Dennis Rodman’s 48-hour trip to Las Vegas during the NBA Finals has found its lead, Jonathan Majors is reported to portray the Chicago Bulls legend in the upcoming movie. The movie, titled ’48 Hours In Vegas’, will tell the story of Rodman’s two-day trip to Las Vegas in the middle of the 1998 NBA Finals. It will “detail a budding friendship that neither one of them ever thought was possible but will end up solving both of their problems” according to reports.
During the Chicago Bulls run for a 6th title, Rodman and the Chicago Bulls assistant GM went to Vegas. Head coach Phil Jackson granted Rodman permission to travel as a way to clear his mind. When Rodman didn’t return on time, Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan traveled to Nevada to retrieve him themselves.
