Emmy Award Winning Show ‘Frasier’ Gets Sequel Series Order At Paramount+

Deadline has reported that a sequel series to ‘Frasier’, the iconic comedy from the 1990s, has been given a series order by Paramount+. Originally announced to be in development back in February of 2021, the new show is given the go ahead with the first season set to be 10 episodes. It will follow Frasier’s “next chapter in a different city,” where he will be accompanied by new characters.

Reports are that original characters from ‘Frasier’ will not reguarly appear on the new series, but occasionally appear in guest roles. Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli are set to write the sequel.
