Everything We Know About The HBO Max Series ‘Dune: The Sisterhood’

‘Chernobyl’ director Johan Renck posted on his Instagram page, to confirm that production on HBO Max’s upcoming Dune prequel series entitled, ‘Dune: The Sisterhood’ has officially begun production. Renck is also serving as an executive producer, and is expected to direct the first two episodes of the show.

The series will be set 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, and will follow the Harkonnen Sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind. Emily Watson will be playing Valya Harkonnen, while Shirley Henderson is portraying Tula Harkonnen. Rounding out the cast will be  Indira Varma, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Faoileann Cunningham, Aoife Hinds, Chloe Lea, and Travis Fimmel.
