Trailer: Inspired By Real Life Events MGM Debuts ‘Women Talking’

MGM has released the first look trailer for ‘Women Talking’, the upcoming film adaptation of the 2018 novel, which is loosely inspired by real-life events. It will debut in cinemas January 20.

“Women in an isolated religious colony struggle to reconcile with their faith after a series of sexual assaults,” reads the film’s synopsis.

It stars Rooney Mara and Jessie Buckley, along with Emmy winner Claire Foy, Tony winner Judith Ivey, and Sheila McCarthy.
