Deadline reports that Isabela Merced is set to star in the new Alien movie, alongside actress Cailee Spaeny. The movie is set to be directed by Fede Álvarez. 20th Century Studios has confirmed that production will start in Budapest on March 9. The cast that has been announced so far is Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu.
“In this ninth entry in the immensely popular and enduring film series, a group of young people on a distant world find themselves in a confrontation with the most terrifying life form in the universe,” reads the upcoming film’s synopsis.
