Deadline reports that Amazon Studios has won a auction to purchase the rights to ‘The Dwelling’, an unpublished short story by Aaron Jayh. Michael B. Jordan and Liz Raposo’s Outlier Society are attached to produce. Very early reports suggest Jordan could also be starring in it. Several studios bid for the story, and in the end it came down to Amazon and Netflix, with Amazon successfully winning the auction.
‘The Dwelling’ tells the story of a newly divorced father who discovers a house buried in his backyard. He is a former pro football player trying to work his way into retirement, and the hits he took on the field starts to make him unsure what is real and imagined.
