NAMELLE Dazzles Again with Electrifying New Single: “Defense”

Hold onto your headphones, music lovers! Swedish songbird Namelle is back at it again, and this time she’s serving up an audacious new anthem aptly titled “Defense.” In the ever-twisting world of romance, Namelle’s latest single delivers an honest, relatable narrative about a friend’s love interest who’s less Prince Charming, more irritating frog.

Namelle describes “Defense” as a candid critique on behalf of all those who’ve ever had to endure a friend’s mind-numbing litany of excuses for sticking with a less-than-stellar partner. The takeaway? It’s painfully clear that it’s a doomed venture.

Namelle, a Swedish prodigy who has graced the stage hundreds of times, isn’t shy about bringing her bold electro-pop vibes to the global music arena. Having inked her name across multiple nations through writing, recording, and performance collaborations, she’s now making waves with over 5.6 million streams on Spotify alone.

In 2021, the vivacious vixen partnered with the trend-setting Swedish label LoudKult. Together, they released her self-titled debut EP and a remix EP. That same year, she penned the powerful anthem “GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS” for Julia Alfrida, a participant in the famed Swedish Melodifestivalen.

Keen to keep her sound vibrant and fresh, Namelle tirelessly seeks new influences and collaborations. She’s a creative chameleon in the world of music, ever-evolving her style. Talking about her creative journey, she shares, “Collaborating with other songwriters and producers is incredibly inspiring. It constantly opens up new ways of thinking about production and lyrics.”

Namelle’s genius has already been recognized by industry giants like Conro (Monstercat), Haywyre, and Steve Aoki’s label, DIM MAK, for whom she has written several tracks. In 2018, she was named an INES Talent and has since performed at showcase festivals including Live at Heart, Midem, Westway LAB, Mondo, and The Alternative Escape.

Spring 2022 saw her graduating from the prestigious Musikmakarna, Sweden’s top songwriting school. November of the same year saw the release of her second EP “Salt”, featuring hits like ‘Who’s Keeping Score’ and ‘Goodbye Boy’. Both tracks made it to the New Music Friday list in Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland. Now, she’s burning the midnight oil, working on her next EP in LA and New York.

You can soak in Namelle’s electrifying sound on Spotify and Apple Music, where tracks like “Goodbye Boy,” “Salt N Pepper,” “Who’s Keeping Score,” and “Like It Better” are available for streaming.

Don’t forget to follow this sensational artist on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Soundcloud to stay in the loop. After all, who doesn’t want to be on the forefront of the music revolution with Namelle leading the charge?
