The first teaser for the upcoming stage play that will be a prequel to the hit Netflix show Stranger Things has been released. Netflix also has confirmed that the play will include clues that may be significant for the final chapter of the hit series. The play which is called Stranger Things: The First Shadow will make it’s debut at the Phoenix Theater in London’s West End later this year.
“Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town,” reads the synopsis. “When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy… and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.”
