Trailer: Three-Time Emmy Winner Julia Garner Leads The Thriller ‘The Royal Hotel’

Neon has released the trailer for The Royal Hotel the upcoming thriller, starring three-time Emmy winner Julia Garner and Jessica Henwick. In the trailer we see two best friends as they go backpacking in the Australian outback, where they end up temporarily working at a small town bar. The film will arrive in theaters on October 6.

“Americans Hanna and Liv are best friends backpacking in Australia. After they run out of money, Liv, looking for an adventure, convinces Hanna to take a temporary live-in job behind the bar of a pub called ‘The Royal Hotel’ in a remote Outback mining town,” reads the synopsis. “Bar owner Billy and a host of locals give the girls a riotous introduction to Down Under drinking culture but soon Hanna and Liv find themselves trapped in an unnerving situation that grows rapidly out of their control.”
