• The siblings – and group behind 2014’s global smash “Geronimo” – have now clocked over 1.2 billion combined streams across their catalog. “Dance on the Sun” follows “Good Time” and “Daylight” as the third single from the trio’s upcoming fourth studio album.

Iaraeli-American rapper Kosha Dillz is sharing a brand new song penned following the news of Hamas’ most recent attack on Israel. Within just a few days Kosha Dillz (aka Rami Even-Esh), had written “Bring the Family Home” and recorded and a stunning video shot in old Jewish New York on the Lower East Side that includes shots of the famous Yonah Schimmel’s Knishery and the new Beastie Boys Square.

“(Saturday’s) attack will go down as one of the most horrible days in Jewish history in our lifetime,” Kosha Dillz told AllHipHop in a recent interview. “It’s a day when children and grandmothers were slaughtered, ripped from their homes and documented on social media for the world to see.” 

Many of Dillz’ relatives and friends have died and/or been kidnapped, including those at the infamous Supernova festival where over 260 people perished. With over 150 people kidnapped, how can one artist think about releasing a song at a time like this? Kosha rhymes, “Bring the family home that’s what the world saying, cry to death or can’t sleep that’s the worst pain”When there is no point of return, the only option is to create any form of communication on our platform as an opportunity for education. When you hear Kosha Dillz on a Griselda-type beat, he does just that. 

An advocate of peace, Kosha has been elevating the stories of survivors from October 7 via social media. “I already know that there are people with historical fact sheets, but even with footage of the horror, our current world doesn’t accept it as truth. My only option of not seeing it within my own eyes is getting videos from all my followers.” By sharing real messages from his fans followers and friends, it resonates more with how society wishes to feel the urge to chime in with proximity. “The world seems to want to feel close to a cause, so the only way to do that is to give a platform to survivors, just like the Holocaust Museums did. This one is ours. Never again is now.”

In a mesmerizing fusion of musical prowess and emotive lyricism, Ashley Elle’s latest release, “Death of Me,” emerges as a profound exploration of transformation and vulnerability. The single, now available on all digital music platforms, invites listeners to embark on a cathartic expedition of self-discovery and letting go through its evocative melodies and poignant narrative.

“Death of Me” gracefully opens with a tender but haunting guitar riff, immediately transporting you into a contemplative realm of reflection. Ashley Elle’s vocals gracefully emerge, ethereal and delicate, bearing the weight of raw sentiment. As the song progresses, the production gradually builds, incorporating atmospheric electronic elements and a driving beat. Finnish alternative pop artist Lxandra shares resonant track and lyric video “Sublime” out everywhere now with its official lyric video, which was debuted via Wonderland Magazine. Their immersive, cathartic EP Might Not Wanna Wake Up is due out November 17 and available for pre-order now. Vast and brooding, “Sublime,” sees Lxandra reflect on heartache, process pain and wrestle with forgiveness.

Out today, the spacious, raw ballad “Sublime” plunges into the depths of sadness as Lxandra tenderly bares their soul using little more than captivating vocals. The artist reflects on the pain they’ve endured and ponders forgiveness in pursuit of rebuilding and healing. On the process of creating the personal track, Lxandra says, “I wrote it in the middle of the night on the piano, drinking red wine, during the last COVID lockdown. I recorded it on my live microphone, which is the vocal take used on the final version.” The track continues Lxandra’s stirring exploration of grief and what it can look like to move through adversity.

The forthcoming EP, Might Not Wanna Wake Up, is built upon the ruins of the past versions of Lxandra, capturing an intimate portrait of unfiltered humanity and follows the five stages of grief. Lxandra explains the project is “a story on longing and letting go. A return to the ruins of my past and a last goodbye to the one I used to be.” Over six songs that glide between darkness and light, the musician opens up about their experiences with pain and hardship–and what it means to make it to the other side of these challenging moments. Lxandra continues, “Struggling with grief in many different ways made me want to put this EP together. I wanted to dive deep into it and create a fairytale world appreciating all the different stages.” Made intimately in Finland’s countryside or in a quiet home at the piano, the EP is an honest depiction of life’s raw, messy moments that ultimately allow Lxandra to find strength and beauty in who they are today. Alongside the music, Lxandra finds their story best told through visuals, resulting in a forthcoming short film to accompany the EP.

The previously shared “Blonde,” with its bubbling beat and captivating vocals, embraces the honest, rawness of denial. Written five years ago, it captures Lxandra fearlessly putting their own humanity on full display. It includes a personal voice note in the background of the bridge that further invites listeners into Lxandra’s sonic and artistic universe. Lxandra says of the track, “It’s very innocent but still has that dark element to it.”

After months of anticipation, MANY EYES – the new band fronted by iconic metalcore frontman, Keith Buckley – finally releases its debut single, “Revelation” via the Perseverance Media Group label. The song was co-written by Buckley with new band members and esteemed multi-instrumentalist brothers, Nick Bellmore and Charlie Bellmore

Revelation” is a fast-paced, hard hitting track that reflects on Buckley’s internal battles as he’s worked on overcoming alcoholism over these last few years. 

Commenting on the song, Buckley shares, “Revelation’ is about recognizing evil and having the courage, the wisdom and the faith to face it directly. I hope anyone who listens to this song feels empowered to confront injustice, no matter what form it takes in their lives.

The band also shares an incredible, newly animated visual for the track, created by 3D artist Matthew Collamore (Polyphia). Watch it HERE. The “Revelation” single art was developed by Nick Steinhardt (from Touche’ Amore’) and Ryan Sanders from the MDRN DVSN agency.

A long and winding road brought Buckley to MANY EYES. As it did for so many of us, the pandemic forced Buckley to sit with himself and look back on his life, and he found himself at the end of the line. He knew something needed to change, so he decided to focus on his mental health, chose sobriety, spent a month in a recovery facility “to learn how to live soberly,” and reorganized his priorities as a father and husband.

TAELA returns with “Unforgivable,” released today by Young Forever/Capitol Records. Known for her unfiltered lyricism and heartfelt melodies, TAELA’s new track is an introspective journey into the complexities of toxic relationships. “Unforgivable” is one of two new tracks released on her album that dropped today, which consists of twelve other tracks that TAELA has meticulously crafted and released over the past year; garnering over 22 million streams/views on Spotify and YouTube.

Co-written with JP Saxe, the heart-wrenching lyrics of “Unforgivable” delve into the concept of a trauma bond – a deep and often destructive attachment to a toxic relationship. TAELA reveals, “I wrote “Unforgivable” about being so deeply attached to a toxic relationship that it would take your partner doing something completely unforgivable for you to leave. Having a trauma bond is the worst type of addiction. I heard someone say it’s worse than being addicted to drugs or alcohol because drugs and alcohol can’t text or call you begging for you to come back. As someone who’s been trauma bonded before, I was super inspired to write about what it feels like to have this attachment.”

TAELA’s raw and unfiltered approach to songwriting shines through in “Unforgivable.” She fearlessly lays bare her experiences, sharing the painful and uncomfortable truths that come with toxic relationships. Despite the discomfort, TAELA’s music offers a healing opportunity for those who can relate to her lyrics. “I thought about the things my ex did to get me to hate them enough to leave and said ‘fuck it, i’m gonna just lay it all out there’ and when I started teasing the song online I was amazed by how many people resonated with the lyrics. I think it can be uncomfortable for some people to listen to but really healing for whoever needs to hear it” she shares passionately. 

With over half a billion streams of their critically acclaimed debut EP Worldwide Torture, Jazmin Bean is one of the UK’s worst-kept secrets. Today, the non-binary, London-based artist continues their evolution with the release of their brand-new single “Terrified”, along with the music video. “Terrified” is the third single off of their upcoming debut album entitled Traumatic Livelihood, which is due out in February 2024, and includes Jazmin’s previous singles “Favourite Toy” and “Piggie”, which was produced by John Feldman and Travis Barker. Emotionally laden, the new track pays homage to nineties rock guitars and swooning strings, making “Terrified” a towering ballad that neatly sums up the anxiety of falling deeply in love, but fearing the outcome. “Terrified” is available now via aswang birthday cake/Interscope Records/Island Records. 

GRAMMY-nominated, Platinum-certified singer-songwriter, Cassadee Pope, shares a new rock version of her massive hit, “Wasting All These Tears,” in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the song. Produced by Cassadee and former Hey Monday bandmate, Alex Lipshaw, this version breathes a new life into the seminal track and marks a full circle moment for Cassadee as she further cements her place in the scene.

Speaking on the song, Cassadee shares, “Wasting All These Tears’ changed my life when it came out ten years ago. It’s a song I’ll be performing for the rest of my career and one that’s managed to take on many new lives. In my move back to my pop punk roots, I wanted to take WATT with me. I thought who better to produce this with me than my old band mate, Alex Lipshaw, from Hey Monday? The process was cathartic and sentimental… We truly did have the best time making this new version. ‘Wasting All These Tears (Cassadee’s Version)’ feels like a true depiction of the angst and frustration in the lyrics… it feels like coming home.”

Cherry Lena is an alternative pop R&B singer-songwriter from Montreal, Canada. Having first captured the attention of audiences with her performances on The Voice Quebec in 2018, she has since been making a name for her stunning combination of warm R&B tones and subtle 1950’s jazz vocals. Her music is rich and timeless, resulting in a sound which effortlessly displays the musician’s undeniable talent and passionate delivery. 

Her latest single, “EDGE” was written a few years ago, and is described by the songwriter as a cry for help. Struggling with loneliness and isolation, Lena emphasises how she’s hit her limit, singing “I’m on the edge,” as she desperately tries to find a way out of the darkness. She confides, “Re-working it years after its initial composition, I was pleased to realize that I had evolved considerably since. I dedicate this song to my inner-strength. To my resilienceto my inner-bad b*tch, who allowed me to become a flower that blooms in adversity. This is for my inner-queen. Back then, I had yet to meet her.”

Sonically, “EDGE” is channeled by dark feminine energy and feminine rage. Letting her heart dictate her words and melodies, this is some of Lena’s most honest and authentic work to date. Blending pop with drum and bass, “EDGE” is a confidence booster and a song to listen to when you want to feel energized and pumped.
Hoping her music will allow others to feel their emotions, she encourages people to not see their pain as a weakness but as something that makes them grow into the elevated version of themselves. Racking up an impressive amount of streams on Spotify, the artist continues to win over the hearts of listeners across the globe. Her cover of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” in collaboration with Apashe has received more than 9.5 million views on YouTube alone. Proving to be a force to be reckoned with by gathering humbling praise from tastemakers such as Wonderland Magazine, METAL Magazine, Earmilk and Atwood, expect to see a lot more from Cherry Lena.

The “From A Woman” video, Mariah’s first since 2022’s “Bout Mine,” is directed by Leff (Future, Nas), and features the singer ensconced in a late-night romantic setting, joined via small screen by Young Thug, her love interest both on and off set. Though Thug’s appearance isn’t physical, his presence is felt, and Mariah’s intimate performance doubles as an ode to their romance.

A collage of found sounds, poignant string arrangements, and reflections on life thus far, Like a Doll is a meditation on what’s like in the confines of a dollhouse. After over a decade of playing music in various East Coast bands such as Sloppy Jane and Dirt Buyer, Emma Stacher’s first album with their band Like a Doll arrives next month.

Saint Ahmad is a Brooklyn-based rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter. Radiating authenticity and an unapologetic sense of personal freedom, Saint Ahmad’s sound is not confined to just one particular genre. The Great Divide” is unique in our song catalogue as it’s among the darkest and heaviest. It’s also one of the most stripped down songs we’ve recorded. It’s pretty much the five of us playing, with very little if any double tracking and not much instrumental overdub. By pulling things out of the mix and having verses, for example, just as bass, drums and vocal, things can really feel big and explosive.

We record a lot of voice memos and then file things away in the band’s Google Drive. There’s some folders that contain little snippets of stuff. Every once in a while we’ll go through them and flag anything that’s interesting. The genesis of “The Great Divide” was a particular file called “Bowie 80s (8.5-10).” It was from way back in June 2018, but clearly someone had given it an 8.5 out of 10 rating, so it was worth a second listen. It’s our vocalist/guitarist Dave Suchon on our old Mason & Risch piano with some bass notes in the left and a dissonant drone on the right hand. The verse vocal melody is there and the drone is picked up in the final recording by the guitars. There was a swagger and a character that we embraced in a fun plastic soul kinda way.

The lyric video for “The Great Divide” is taken to the next level. We worked again with Barto Bak who had previously done our video for “Stand Down,” a stop animation cartoon romp in the style of the Monty Python’s Flying Circus intro. For “The Great Divide,” Barto built on the cut up squares motif from Trace Loops and created a grainy strange black and white talking head video.

The earth speaks to us in a myriad of ways — through ice cores, through uplift and erosion, through tree rings — languages we have the potential to restore our literacy in. Reconnecting with these quiet messages has set Seth Glier, an avid mushroom forager and a Grammy-nominated artist from Western Massachusetts, on a path of channeling nature’s longing for communion with humanity into song. His new album Everything is a collection of eight songs inviting us to imagine a future in which humans and the planet are re-aligned into mutual restoration. 

Each song presents a practical climate solution with concrete optimism.“What if this is the beginning, not the beginning of the end,” the album opens with bristling energy and hope on “Rise,” an anthem about rewilding. “Finally Home” is a celebration of regenerative farming with driving doo wop vocal harmony. “Mammoth,” written from the perspective of a wooly mammoth being brought back to life from frozen DNA, invites us to consider the blip of human history against billions of years of evolution. The album’s guest stars Crys Matthews, Hayley Reardon, and Windborne elevate the record with surprise from the stark choir arrangement of “Birches” recorded a capella in an old church to “My Body Remembers,” a flowing meditation on the transmission of healing, EMDR & The Language of Trees. The album’s title track was inspired by an experience Seth had while foraging. “When I picked up the chantarelle mushroom and brought it towards my nose I first smelled sweet apricot and then my spine straightened suddenly. The feeling was like déjà vu. It was a first time, yet somewhere inside of me I had done this once before. I was reconnecting to a knowledge I had already known.” The album is an acknowledgement of the sacred connections that exist between all living things and is an active questioning of what might be possible collectively. Everything is a reminder that the future is something we always have an influence over.

Seth’s gifts are an innate curiosity and a fierce desire to connect with other people. His musical acumen provides him with a vehicle for both. He was worked as a cultural diplomat for the US State Department and collaborated with musicians in Ukraine, Mongolia, China, and Mexico. Seth has shared the bill with a diverse list of artists ranging from the likes of Ronnie Spector, James Taylor, Ani DiFranco, & Glen Campbell. As a producer, music director, or studio musician he has collaborated with Sophie B. Hawkins, Tom Rush, Antje Duvekot, Richard Shindell, Doctora Qingona, Dar Williams, Nick Carter, & Cyndi Lauper. Seth is a five-time Independent Music Award winner and received a Grammy nomination for his album The Next Right Thing. With a commitment to using songwriting as a tool for positive change, he has written with the students in Parkland, FL for the “Parkland Project,” cowritten with soldiers at Walter Reed, and is an advocate for autism awareness citing his autistic brother Jamie as his greatest non-musical-musical influence.

Long Island, NY CRIME IN STEREO –  Last month Crime In Stereo announced their first new record in the 13 years, House & Trance. The album is set for release on 27th October 2023 via Pure Noise Records.

Following on from singles HypernormalisationBooks Cannot Be Killed By Fire and Rogue Wave the band have released their fourth offering from the album, Goliathette. 

In the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary underground hip-hop, where artists often blur the lines between musical expression and sociopolitical commentary, Conway The Machine who has been leading a new wave of underground hip-hop talking about the realities of street life and not just the glamour and riches, teams up with UK producer Baby J (Mark Ronson, Dead Prez, Iman Thug, Shabazz The Disciple of Wu-Tang), and MC NE$$ (featured in The Source ‘Unsigned Hype’).   

‘Stripper Money’ serves as the latest single to release from collaborative album ’The Price of Bread’ (due for release 27th October). The track explores the ever-revolving nature of money and how we often get trapped and caught up in its cycle. While everyone is hustling to get ahead ultimately, we are often exploiting each other and never really progressing in a game that’s been set up for us to fail.  

Izzy Raye was born and raised in Central New Jersey (yes, it exists), and is a NYC-based musical artist. She recently headlined shows at Baby’s All Right and Mercury Lounge. Izzy started writing songs at age ten and began performing with her local community theater at an early age. She attributes her love of performing to her theatrical background. During college, she honed in her songwriting and released two singles following her graduation. Her latest EP, Favorite Girl, is a conceptual project stemming from her alter ego of the same name, who would do whatever it takes to accomplish her dreams. A remix album with different interpretations of her EP songs is currently in the works.

Over the past 15 years, Graeme Cornies has been lucky enough to work on more than 40 TV shows and has contributed to more than 1000 episodes of television with his writing partners at Voodoo Highway Music and Post. The last five years have brought multiple awards from both SOCAN and BMI – recognizing his musical reach both domestically and internationally. Recently, Graeme has been releasing electronic-pop music under the moniker Kodiak Arcade.

The new Kodiak Arcade song, “Another Summer,” asks a question that people often ask themselves: Once the infatuation of a new relationship fades and the spell of newness has worn off, can the relationship bloom again and again over time? Even after you’ve been in a relationship for a long time, that question remains – can we keep falling for each new version of one another as we grow?

FIIZ was born out of the bond between Fiona and Isabelle and their shared experiences during quarantine. Their work is produced by Sietse Fase, a producer from the Netherlands who was trained under the same tutelage as Martin Garrix.

Bated breathe anti-folk singer Lizzy and the Palm has released the pensive new single “Honest Song.” The wistful track opens Lizzy up to listeners in a new way by wandering through her labyrinthine mind and exposing the vulnerability and internal struggle she experiences in the spotlight. “Honest Song” is available for streaming now on all digital platforms. 

Backed by an understated piano melody and Lizzy’s raw vocals, “Honest Song’s” storytelling and gut-wrenching lyrics focus on the desire to be yourself while battling the fear that you will be abandoned if people figure out who you truly are. The song’s beautiful arrangement pulls listeners closer to Lizzy and towards her world of insecurities as she sings, “Only God knows the truth, I’d never show it, I would be alone for good.” “Honest Song” was recorded and produced by Adam Castilla of The Colourist.
