In a recent interview with website Comic Book Movie, James Frey, who co-wrote the popular I Am Number Four novel under the pseudonym of Pittacus Lore, gave fans an update about the current status of his franchise. Frey confirmed that both himself and producer Neal Moritz are working with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar on a reboot of his 2010 sci-fi novel.

“Neal Moritz is producing a version of it that was written by the original writers, who just made Wednesday,” Frey said. “So, we are in process on it and I can’t say whether it will actually ever get made or not, but I have great people I’m working with who are trying to make it happen, for sure.”
