Deadline reports that, Toni Collette, Andy Garcia, Alex Pettyfer, Eva De Dominici, Rob Estes, Jessica Michel Serfaty, and Chiara Iezzi have been cast in an upcoming romantic comedy titled Under the Stars. The film is expected to revolve around a struggling romance novelist, “who’s stuck in a passionless relationship. When he goes to Italy looking for inspiration, he unexpectedly finds the girl of his dreams.” Production on the project is now underway in Italy.

Under the Stars is being directed by Michelle Danner from a screenplay written by Victoria Vinuesa. It will be prodcued by Pia Patatian.

“Under the Stars is a fun and heartfelt romantic comedy about love, passion, and beauty with a brilliant ensemble cast featuring Toni Collette, Andy Garcia, Alex Pettyfer and Eva De Dominici,” Patatian said in a statement. “Set against the bustle of London and the serenity of Puglia, Michelle Danner is the ideal director to bring Victoria Vinuesa’s wonderful story to life.”
