Kristen Stewart Set To Make Television Debut In Limited Series ‘The Challenger’

Deadline reports that Kristen Stewart will make her TV debut in the limited series called The Challenger. Stewart will play Sally Ride, the astronaut and physicist who became the first American woman to fly in space, as was part of the NASA astronaut class of 1978. She died in July 2012 at the age of 61.

The Challenger is based on The New Guys, which is a book by Meredith E. Bagby.
