Following his recent collaborative Loveless EP with rising Nigerian sensation LojayJAE5 is back with another summer banger in the form of “Normally” with rap collective NSG. Stream HERE.

Upon first listen, the track is an instant hit with NSG’s recognisable flow and JAE5’s signature production style. The studio chemistry is evident considering their prior link up resulted in NSG’s biggest charting hit in the form of “Options” ft. Tion Wayne. The collective also became the first ever Number 1 on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart. Consisting of six members, NSG released their debut album AREA BOYZ in October 2023. Hinting towards a new sonic, JAE5 reflects on how the track came into existence.

“Normally came to me at a time where I was feeling experimental. I wanted to challenge myself in creating a new sound. But I also want the sound to exist alongside a community – this isn’t just a one-off!” speaks JAE5.

“Normally working with JAE5 means we got another banger,” says NSG.

Natalie Shay is one of the most exciting singer-songwriters emerging from the UK indie-pop music scene. Having performed at the world’s biggest festivals for new music SXSW and The Great Escape, as well as well-renowned festivals like ReadingLatitude and Victorious, the North Londoner is making her way across the globe, turning heads with her explosive live performances.

Picking up the guitar at the age of five and attending the prestigious BRIT School in her teenage years, music has always been a part of Natalie’s life and her passion from a very young age. Known for her honest and relatable songwriting, Natalie is creating songs that empower and support, from infectious heartbreak anthems to up-beat tracks on love and friendships. She also doesn’t shy away from topics, speaking openly about mental health and anxiety.

CHAMPAGNE is Natalie’s new six-track EP, described as her favourite collection of songs yet. The songwriter confides, “Every song was written during things I’ve learned and experienced with friendships and relationships over the last 2 years since my last EP, MILK.” CHAMPAGNE is the third EP from Natalie and encompasses who the artist is today, as she gives us a personal and intimate look into her life, offering her most honest and authentic work to date.

The EP includes songs such as “The Edge” which painfully recalls the demise of a friendship, and the ultimate breakup anthem “Like You Boy”, as well as “All The Time” which details the inner-monologue of a fan girl. The new addition of “Love Me Too” represents a self-contained lyrical rambling of all of the themes and messages throughout the EP, all collated into one song.
Natalie has already surpassed 10 million streams on Spotify alone, made it onto New Music Friday in 10 countries, including multiple times in the UK and received strong support from BBC Radio 1. She has also gained critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard, Wonderland, ClashThe Line of Best FitNotion1883 Magazine and many more.

Rising singer/songwriter Hunter Daily reminisces on the lovestruck idealism of the beginning of a relationship on her latest single, “Like You Used To.” The poignant track digs into the moment when the honeymoon phase comes to a close and the dynamic shifts – listen HERE and watch the video HERE.

On her inspiration for the song, Hunter shares, “I wrote ‘Like You Used To’ during a very rocky period in my relationship. We had just moved in together. It was my first time living with a significant other. I thought it would be so nice finally getting to share a home with my partner, but it didn’t take long to realize it wasn’t going to be all sunshine and rainbows. It’s so easy to take someone for granted when you see them basically every moment of the day. We very quickly went from lovers to roommates. It was so frustrating and broke my heart to think we might never get back to the honeymoon phase. I found myself wondering if he would ever look at me like he used to.”

Rising indie-rock artist meg elsier announces her forthcoming debut album, spittake, releasing on June 28th. Alongside the announcement, meg also reveals her upcoming North American Fall tourdates supporting Finom. Tickets are on sale now

Hailing from New England and now based in Nashville, meg elsier has emerged as one of the most exciting new voices in the indie-rock space. Juxtaposing her sweet vocals and opulent melodies with grungy guitars and weighty production, meg is carving out a sonic lane all of her own. Her wit and self-awareness shines through in her lyrics, seamlessly weaving into the fabric of her ethereal shoegaze sound.

Her highly-anticipated 11-track album, spittake, includes previously released singles, “ifshitfuq,” “baby,” “iznotreal,” “forlyleinsanfrancisco,” and “oldnews.” Demonstrating her versatility as an artist, meg recently shared a remix of her latest single, “oldnewsremix” ft. Coleman.X (Carson Cody x Joy in Missing Out remix), molding her indie-rock single into a hyper-pop anthem.

Speaking about her forthcoming debut album, spittake, meg elsier shares: “The creation of spittake was the biggest and scariest thing that I’ve done. It’s something I built up and something that seemed somewhat impossible to even imagine how to achieve. But it happened! Ryan McFadden and I made this record by getting to know each other’s intentions and taste, and just brain processes. To be honest, I don’t think I knew what the record meant to me/what I wanted to create until it was done. I know I wanted to record an album because I felt proud of these songs and I really was craving for people to hear them. What I really was searching for was an introduction as… meg. Not someone I’m mirroring, or someone I’ve been trying to become. Just who I am genuinely at this moment.”

It deals with the draw backs of spending so much time dedicated to work. We don’t have any drives towards community – we are all driven towards success. Then we feel lonely and Thrown Around. Rising alt-pop star Chloe Star reveals her debut EP, ‘the bed i lie in,’ out on all streaming platforms today. Bold, evocative, openly queer, and a fierce advocate for female empowerment, Chloe Star is the definition of a modern day rockstar. Her music is equally defiant, shamelessly blending elements of pop, rock, and punk into a catchy sound that is wholly her own.

The 5 tracks that make up Chloe’s debut EP, ‘the bed i lie in,’ are angsty, anthemic, and utterly captivating. Beneath the heavy distorted guitars, tight percussion, and belt-along worthy choruses, Chloe opens up about her struggles with loneliness, heartbreak, and overcoming addiction.

This is the most authentic collection of song I have ever written,” says Chloe. “Being able to put my heart and soul into this project has been so healing for me on so many levels. I am officially walking in my truth and can now shut the door on the bed I lie in.”

Speaking on the inspiration behind ‘Ps. I Never Liked Your Friends’, Walwyn shares, “This song was written pretty quickly after I had ended a relationship and was reflecting on the things I wish I had a chance to say and whether ending it was the correct decision. The song explores that and puts down the good and some harder truths about the relationship hence the title haha I didn’t want it to be an overly soppy song hence why it’s faster tempo I wanted it to be more of an account, simply reflectional not overly emotional.”

‘Ps. I Never Liked Your Friends’ is a candid exploration of the aftermath of a relationship, capturing the emotions of heartache with a playful twist. Despite its reflective and emotional undertones, the track boasts an upbeat and lively sound. Sam’s unique ability to blend poignant storytelling with vibrant, danceable rhythms sets this song apart as a must-listen for fans of indie-pop music.

“I wrote this idea and immediately posted it online. It got a good reaction so I knew I had to finish it. I didn’t want this song to be too emotional hence the rhythmic guitar and upbeat drums later. It was fun writing these lyrics because it was nice to have good memories of the relationship. It was fun to find the balance between conveying the emotion of reflecting on the end of a relationship you’ve ended and it still feel playful.”

While their sun-soaked sound harkens back to simpler times, CARPOOL TUNNEL literally wouldn’t exist without the power of modern technology. Like all great 21st-century relationships, a serendipitous swipe on an app – in this case Vampr, hailed as Tinder for musicians – brought singer/guitarist Ben Koppenjan and guitarist Bradley Kearsley together in 2017.

The Bay Area guitarists quickly bonded over a shared love of ’60s and ’70s-era classic rock like the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, and the connection was immediate: Just a few weeks after meeting, the pair was in the studio recording their debut single, “Afterlight,” with Grammy-nominated producer Billy Mohler.

After the release of their first album BLOOM the brilliantly named band hit the road, bringing their California cool aesthetic and classically retro sound up and down the coast. In this live setting, free-wheeling and bereft of perfectionist attitudes, the group began laying the foundation for their long-awaited second album Don’t Let Them Pass You By.

The album out now via Pure Noise Records, puts Carpool Tunnel’s sandbar psychedelic sound on full display, swirling psychedelic rock and blues with sunny surf rock to create something that’s both nostalgic and fresh.

A former Wilhelmina Curve model and outspoken advocate for body positivity, women and LGBTQ rights, this bicoastal, bisexual bombshell has been turning heads with everything she does.

Her latest single “I Do” is a romantic pop soul track written by Lane the day after she was proposed to and narrates her very own love story. The artist confides, “I was anxious about the idea of speaking in front of people at the wedding, I’m much better at singing and performing than I am at public speaking.”

Her warm, honey-toned vocals float over a steady beat and intimate guitars, as angelic harmonies create a spine-tingling release. Her honest lyrics tug at your heartstrings, with Lane baring her soul and declaring, “They say winners stand alone so I guess that we lose, we left behind our selfish pride found our way to the truth, I told myself I’d never love nobody again, now you’re my lover and my best friend, we did it our way and now it’s my chance to say, I do”.

Brooklyn-based psych rock quintet ZEBEDEE announce their sophomore studio album Going Nowhere Fast due out August 2 and available for pre-order now. Alongside the announcement, the band shares the first taste with energetic track and whimsical official video “For God’s Sake” out now. The band is set to play live across New York City this summer in June, July and August, including at Alphaville on June 7 with Cold Mess, Ladada and Fire Motel. Get tickets here and see a list of dates below.

Going Nowhere Fast, the forthcoming sophomore project by ZEBEDEE, is an ode to the band’s love of neo-psych and desert rock sounds. Fuzzy guitar licks, glittering synths and post-punk drums merge to create a compelling, robust sound that is all their own. The songs were written by Row, and his wife and band’s guitarist Kelsey Van Mook who are able to channel their love and mutual understanding into their music. It was produced by GRAMMY award winning engineer Daniel Avila and recorded, mixed and mastered in Flux Recording Studios in Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

Throughout the album, Row was able to funnel his frustrations about the state of the world into the powerful instrumentation and is able to carry this fervor into the lively live shows. The ten song collection is a commentary on the world today and the human condition–what it means to navigate the world, engage with societal issues and not get lost in a spiral of despair. Crafting the project in the midst of COVID caused the band to reflect and deliberately think about their work and goals. Row says when recording, “I was clearly pretty pissed off about the state of this country and all its flaws. But considering I’m not born here but choose to live in this big beautiful dumpster fire of a country, I thought that gave me an interesting perspective to comment on it. The lyrics are often about the sad, desperate, self-obsessed reality we live in, and the defense mechanisms we use to cope with it.”

Hackney native and multi-disciplinary actor and musician Hope releases a perfect track for the Summer ‘Boujee Babe’. A laid-back melodic production, laced with a jazz influenced hip hop beat that will have you sitting back and relaxing, taking in Hope’s lyrics.

Steadily and consistently releasing tracks since 2022, the artist is showing fans his musical talent is here to stay and he can’t be boxed in.
