Production is officially underway on Freaky Friday 2 with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis returning to lead the sequel. In a press release from Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Freaky Friday 2 has officially started filming in Los Angeles. A video was also shared on their official TikTok;
“A sequel to the beloved 2003 film with a multigenerational twist, the film picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis,” the synopsis for the movie reads. “Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.”
