ABOUT TY SUNDERLAND:
One of dance music’s most important personalities, the DJ and producer Ty Sunderland has skyrocketed into the upper echelons of dance culture with a fervent following, trademark sound and a stunning rise from underground party promoter and DJ to a bona fide global force bubbling into the mainstream. Anointed by Dua Lipa as a “Titan of Queer nightlife” with BuzzFeed calling him “New York City’s Biggest Queer DJ,” Sunderland’s foundational vision single-handedly coalesced the Big Apple queer scene with his iconic Heaven on Earth affairs, an underground late-night bash at the restaurant China Chalet which GQ called a “party epicenter.” Laying the foundation for a community-building universe, Ty’s nightlife footprint has exploded into a series of viral themed boat-bashes, as well as the popular parties Ty Tea, Love Prism, Devil’s Playground, the latter having counted Ava Max and Natasha Bedingfield as special guests. In addition to his gargantuan annual Planet Pride, Sunderland has made memorable appearances nationwide, from opening for Jessie Ware on her That! Feels Good! Tour to a memorable set at Coachella, along the way appearing with fellow tastemakers Galantis, Kim Petras and Rebecca Black.
In tandem, Sunderland has produced a series of inescapable official remixes for a bevy of superstars, from his spin on Kelly Clarkson’s emotional “mine” from her acclaimed album Chemistry to Faouzia’s earth-shaking “La La La” and VINCINT’s energetic love anthem “Higher.” It’s a hot streak that continues in 2024 with the release of his collaboration with Galantis in the form of a Pride Pack via Atlantic Records in which he puts his touch on two tracks for the superstar dance duo: “Lighter” (featuring David Guetta and 5 Seconds of Summer) and “One Cry” (with Rosa Linn). It’s no wonder why everyone from The New York Times to PAPER has showered Sunderland with praise as he continues his relentless march upwards and further bridges the gap between a community he helped create and the culture he vibrantly fosters.

Madeline Hawthorne has shared “Night Ride,” the third song to be shared off her forthcoming album Tales From Late Nights & Long Drives. “Night Ride” instantly intoxicates as she urges, “Roll me up like a joint and smoke me.” She remembers, “It’s about the time I had with my husband during the pandemic. It’s rare we get that much time together without a million things to do. It was a silver lining to an incredibly challenging period.”
“Night Ride” follows the releases of “Where Did I Go Wrong,” “Neon Wasteland” and “Chasing The Moon.”
Hawthorne’s new album Tales From Late Nights & Long Drives is due out everywhere on June 14 and was produced by the famed Ryan Hadlock (Zach Bryan, The Lumineers, Vance Joy) and recorded at Bear Creek Studios near Seattle, WA. Pre-orders for the album, and merch exclusives are available HERE.
This summer, Madeline will tour the Northwest and Rocky Mountains, making stops at venues and iconic festivals like Live Oak, High Sierra, Under The Big Sky and more. She also recently landed a supporting slot for Paul Cauthen on July 19.

She honed her talents through countless backup and band gigs before going solo amid the Global Pandemic. Balancing Americana, roots, folk, and rock, she introduced herself on the 2021 LP, Boots, co-produced by Brad Parsons and Tyler Thompson in Pittsburgh. In between, she shared the stage with everyone from Jason Isbell, Lukas Nelson, Josh Turner, and Kip Moore to Sierra Hull, John Craigie, and Nathaniel Rateliff. Plus, she wowed audiences at festivals such as Treefort Music Festival (ID), Americanafest (TN), WinterWonderGrass (CO), Pak City Song Summit (UT), Roseberry Music Festival, (ID), and more. Earning acclaim for tracks like 2023’s “Neon Wasteland,” Relix applauded her “powerful and unbridled singles.” Beyond features from Nashville.com, Melodic.net, and more, No Depression also raved, “She’s been crushing rootsy tunes.”

Award winning power-duo Campbell & Johnston are a soulful blend of vintage blues-rock, roots & folk with a modern twist. Trading off lead vocals, harmonies and guitar solos, the two are a musical yin & yang, captivating audiences with raw emotion and heartfelt authenticity. Whether experiencing their performance as an acoustic duo, or with their full electric band, the chemistry is palpable and the musicianship is top notch.
Their debut album earned them the 22’ ECMA for “Best Blues Album” and a Maple Blues nomination. Campbell also received the “Rooted To The Island Award” from Music PEI in 2023. You may have heard their music from popular Canadian tv shows like ”Hudson & Rex” and “Sullivan’s Crossing” or saw them open for some big names like Steve Earl, Burton Cummings and Bob Seger.
Their new album “Paisley Hearts”, released in the Spring of 24’, is already hitting the airwaves throughout Canada, the U.K. and U.S. via radio platforms such as CBC. They have a jam-packed year of touring ahead, bringing the new music to some renowned stages like Ottawa Bluesfest, Stanfest, Harvest Jazz & Blues and opening for Tom Cochrane at the NS Stampede.
Matte Blvck, the Industrial/Darkwave band, has recently unveiled their latest single, ‘Pupula Duplex.’ This track not only embodies the hard-hitting club-industrial sound that defines the Matte Blvck style, but it also introduces a fresh, boundary-pushing element to the world of dark electronic music. Drawing inspiration from the 90s’ big beat’ era acts like The Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, and The Prodigy, ‘Pupula Duplex’ combines these influences with a modern, aggressive production, elevating the overall listening experience. The band is beyond excited to share this innovative addition to their musical repertoire with the world.
Their upcoming album, Vows, to be released this summer, is set to explore new territories while keeping the signature industrial/darkwave tone that Matte Blvck is known for. The album features slow valleys of sunlight with airy guitars, chorus-drenched basslines, and pop hooks, but it also may be the band’s heaviest work to date. The album’s theme and title, Vows, is an ode to themselves and each other to aid their inner turmoil and always to put the body of work first while keeping their friendship of 27 years intact. The world might be falling apart, but Matte Blvck has been able to create art through complexity and reconciliation with utmost confidence.
Matte Blvck collaborated with an incredibly talented 3-piece production team alongside Aaron Short and Matt Mcjunkins on various occasions throughout the album. Aaron Short, a Grammy-nominated Producer/Mixer for multiple acts such as The Naked and Famous, Madison Beer, Boy Boy, and So Below, utilized his exceptional mixing skills to create space and moments of bliss through the harsh mechanical-tinged beats and synths. Matt Mcjunkins, renowned for his work with A Perfect Circle, Poppy, and Puscifer, led a recording session for the band, which allowed them to revisit their love for live instruments. The four of them meticulously experimented with different guitars, basses, amps, and pedals in an analog environment, ultimately finding the perfect sound with sheer confidence. Their collaboration is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and expertise. The result is an album that boasts exceptional sound quality, which reflects their unwavering commitment to perfection.
Despite having no label, management, or representation, Matte Blvck has grown its audience and sold out its shows quickly. This feat is not easily accomplished, even with the proper behind-the-scenes support. However, Matte Blvck has achieved this with utmost confidence and determination. The band mentioned they would like to work with a large label to propel them to heights. They are confident that they are rising to form a legacy, and it’s only a matter of time before they achieve it in an evolving music industry.
R&B Pop Singer-Songwriter, Nikitaa, has released their latest single, “Delirious Summer,” today. Co-written and co-produced by Nikitaa; “Delirious Summer” is a harmonious fusion of mid-tempo contemporary R&B and psychedelic pop, seamlessly weaving together elements of sound and self-reflection. Born from a moment when life appeared intoxicatingly perfect yet riddled with suspicion, the song encapsulates the paradox of experiencing ecstatic happiness while cautiously questioning its authenticity. Drawing inspiration from the whirlwind of emotions that accompany unexpected success, Nikitaa found themself captivated by the phrase “I can’t tell if I’m unhinged or just better,” which became the cornerstone of their latest musical endeavor. Through its stream-of-consciousness lyrics, “Delirious Summer” offers a poignant glimpse into Nikitaa’s innermost thoughts, delving into the delicate balance between healing and delusion that many young adults grapple with.
With his feet firmly planted in the tropical Floridian sands, the indie-surf-rock artist, Modern Love Child (MLC for short), releases his first single of 2024, “Doing It All,” on May 31, 2024.
Since relocating to Miami, FL, MLC has unexpectedly carved out a name for himself as not just a unique indie songwriter and artist, but also a prominent TikTok creator. As he settled into his new home and began writing songs for his forthcoming sophomore album, he started to use TikTok as a video journal, documenting his experience in Miami, his new love for Latin culture, dance lessons, Spanish classes, and love life.
“I go on a morning walk every day around downtown Miami. While I’m having my coffee, I talk about what’s on my mind, and funny, random thoughts that pop into my head,” says MLC, who was pleasantly shocked when some of his videos began to amass millions of views. Grand Rapids, Michigan based indie rock band The Crane Wives announce their self-produced, rousing fifth studio album Beyond Beyond Beyond due out September 6 and available for pre-order now. Alongside the announcement, the band shares the first taste with anthemic, empowering track and lyric video “Arcturus Beaming” out now. Plus, The Crane Wives will embark on a summer tour across North America kicking off tomorrow in Milwaukee, WI. See a full list of dates below and get tickets now here. Their first project since 2016, Beyond Beyond Beyond sees the band evolve into a guitar-driven, self-assured group who is unafraid to experiment and explore new territory.
Beyond Beyond Beyond, the fifth studio record by The Crane Wives, explores the mixture of fear, joy, and deep vulnerability that occurs when a person is on the cusp of changing the course of their life. The eleven track album is a circular journey that asks heavy questions of the listener: Am I strong enough to change? Am I brave enough to take the risk? Do I deserve the chance to be happy? It offers the listener momentum to move forward, a guide through dark spaces with shimmery other-worldly melodies and an encouraging push to venture forth into the unknown.
Beyond Beyond Beyond is an electric departure from the Crane Wives’ previous releases, prominently highlighting the lead guitar work of songwriters and singers Kate Pillsbury and Emilee Petersmark. Drummer Dan Rickabus contributes darker, stormy and dynamic rhythms to this record, while bassist Ben Zito creates narrative movement in the songs with his rooting, counter-melodic approach. The album is self-produced by the four-piece collaboration, and engineered & mixed by Zito at his studio, Centennial Sound. The band invited guest violinist Samantha Cooper and guest cellist Jordan Hamilton to help portray a distinct emotional voice. The album was mastered by Heba Kadry. The band’s longtime collaborator, visual artist Rebecca Green returned to create her fifth piece of album artwork for the project.
Rickabus shares that the band collaborated like never before throughout the album creation process. “We tried to challenge ourselves to shake loose from our old patterns and explore what is possible between the four of us. Those brave experiments mean even more to me when I think about the lyrical content of the album. The album begins with inner-conflict, and moves through a very human process of growth toward a bold belief in possibility, and an attempt to create change. So, that sense of creative experimentation really resonates.”
stay moist is a bold, edgy, colorful indie pop record filled with maximalist pop production, vulnerability, show-stopping vocals and some serious earworms. Spanning its sonic and emotional range, the EP features a range of collaborators, including Oscar nominated Ian Chang from Son Lux and pop feminist force, Bitch.
beccs had coined the term stay moist during the pandemic when she would find herself crying. To bring levity and a sense of connection to these episodes, she would take a snotty selfie and post it to her Instagram grid with the caption “stay moist”. What started as a coping mechanism in isolation soon turned into a motto of resilience, motivation, growth, and most importantly – whimsy.
Each song on this EP reflects and confronts difficult, shameful, even ugly parts of oneself. By allowing pain and trauma to move through like water instead of getting lodged inside, we can all ‘stay moist’ as a way to remain honest, authentic and glistening through our healing. Tracks like “Good Comin’” and “Rage In My Veins” show the craft of a songwriter in her prime, taking struggles that often connote shame and bringing universality to them with hooks that leave listeners humming long after the song’s end.
beccs shares, “To ‘stay moist’ is essentially my roadmap towards emotional regulation as an adult in a dysregulated world. It is the sensation of having room to move and carry water – an antidote to the hardening that has plagued so many. It can be fun and playful, dark and brutal, or sweet and salty. To “stay moist” deconstructs healing and allows it to be messy. It turns healing, rather than an event, into a lifestyle.”
stay moist Track List:
- Good Comin’
- I Don’t Do Fun
- Jealous Bitch ft Bitch

- Rage In My Veins

Growing up on Cape Breton Island on Nova Scotia, sunsetto (aka Kyle Mischiek) split his time between music and skateboarding, and cultivated a community through both. After trying (and quitting) guitar and piano lessons, he started to rap and make beats in high school. Honing his pen, he attended several songwriting camps hosted by GRAMMY® and JUNO Award-winning songwriter Gordie Sampson (Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban).
During 2020, he shared a snippet of his single “don’t leave” on Instagram and organically amassed hundreds of thousands of streams. He followed up the initial viral buzz with more singles like “good connection” and “downtown.”
While his sound is full-on forward-thinking pop—pulling from an all-over-the-map list of genres such as dance, rap, R&B and modern country—his lyrical themes dip and twist from the joyful to the profound.
Few musical artists have the ability to capture today’s zeitgeist the way sunsetto does. The first of many new singles in the upcoming year, “PLANS” is a testament to how much he has his finger on the pulse and the heart of a new generation of pop fans. More than a bittersweet fire starter of a hit—it also lays the foundation of sunsetto’s emotionally-charged next chapter in music. Stay tuned for more from sunsetto this year.

MONTE was formed by singer and lead guitarist, Caitlin Montclare in 2017, later adding drummer and audio engineer, Ismael Baiz, and bassist Meghan Rose to the official line- up. Since becoming MONTE, the band has released several singles, two EPs and performed more than 50 shows throughout the United States, including renowned New York venues such as “The Knitting Factory” and “The Bowery Electric”.
MONTE is influenced by a lot of bands from the late 80’s and early 90’s such as punk bands The Lunachicks, NOFX, Bad Religion, The Offspring and metal bands like Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Plasmatics. Montclare takes an old school sound and puts her own spin on it with the band adding interesting chord changes, riffs, and song structure. Drummer, Ismael Baiz likes to call this “The MONTE pocket”
The band’s first full-length album is due out and is mixed by
Jeremy Kinney (Fletcher). Their first single, “Dysfunctional Mess”, is a hard-hitting punk rock track filled with explosive guitars, driving bass, and confident melodies
that calls listeners to take themselves back after a toxic relationship. “Control” is an upbeat and satirical song about being in a controlling relationship and already feels like a nostalgia trip, paying homage to the Ska Punk bands of the 90’s.
Virtual Perfection Cowboy – the project of New York-based musician, producer and multimedia artist Dash Lunde – reveals his ethereal new EP, ‘Energy Mirror: The Prelude,’ out on all streaming platforms today.
‘Energy Mirror: The Prelude’ is the first chapter of Virtual Perfection Cowboy’s genre-defying concept album, Energy Mirror, due out later this year. The instrumental 6-track EP introduces listeners to VPC’s diverse, experimental and textured soundscapes. It’s an eclectic project that blends ambient electronica, dream pop, psychedelic rock, neoclassical composition, and dance music.
“‘Energy Mirror: The Prelude’ is the first tease of the ‘Energy Mirror’ album which tells the story of a godlike being — The Dancer — who must incarnate in a human body to win a dance competition to save the universe,” Dash explains. “This first EP is meant to set the stage for the diversity of instrumentals that will be heard throughout the album, which draws on the history of dance music – disco, house, techno, drum & bass, etc. – and combines it with VPC’s trademark sounds.”
Multifaceted and endlessly aspirational, Dash Lunde is a unique artistic force. Born and raised in New York City, he grew up surrounded by the arts and started playing bass and guitar at a young age. Prior to launching Virtual Perfection Cowboy, Dash led a psychedelic punk band called Chromatic Springs and played guitar in Rachel Ana Dobken’s band before joining Littlefoot as a guitarist and songwriter. During his three years with Littlefoot, he co-wrote a number of songs, toured across the country, and performed at SXSW. In addition to his various projects, Dash is also a skilled film composer and sound designer, most recently scoring the short film Breakdown.
