That’s right you read that correctly. Another series that serves as a spin-off to The Batman is being explored. Executive Producer of The Penguin, Dylan Clark, spoke to Entertainment Weekly in which he said that another Batman spin-off series is already being explored.

“There’s another television exploration we’re going to do,” he said. “We’re looking at this entire world as it relates to who Batman is — the antagonists around them, all the crime that has to be navigated in the city — and trying to figure out where are the areas that are best to explore.”

A few series have been in development but never can to fruition. A series centered around the Gotham City Police Department set in the same universe as The Batman was revealed to be in the works in July 2020. Matt Reeves announced it was no longer happening. Also Reeves was said to be developing a series centered around Arkham Asylum, which James Gunn had stated would be part of the forthcoming DCU. That series, was also revealed to no longer be moving forward at Max earlier this month.
