“‘Flavor’ captures that intoxicating feeling of falling for someone in the early stages of a relationship,” Izza shares. “Exploring the sensations of taste, smell, and touch, I’ve found that dating has its own unique flavor.”

Following Izza’s recent viral success with “Gentleman,” which garnered over 100 million views pre-release and solidified her as a trailblazer in the music industry, “Flavor” promises to build on this momentum. This new release blends pulsating beats with Izza’s signature charisma and vocal prowess, offering listeners a fresh and invigorating dance pop hit. Recently completing a successful leg across Europe and the UK supporting Leah Kate on her SUPER OVER Tour, Izza provided fans with an unforgettable experience, showcasing her magnetic stage presence firsthand.

Singer, songwriter and producer Kate Wild is back and ready to shake up the pop scene, with brand new single ‘Who You Are’

The Relentless Records signee delivers feel-good sonics, reminiscent of Swedish inspired pop with an 80s flare, whilst her introspective lyrics take listeners on a reflective journey. Co-produced and vocal engineered by the artist herself, Kate proudly represents the tremendous talents of female identifying producers, engineers and creators in the industry.

The rising artist gets vulnerable and candid in ‘Who You Are’, as she assures listeners of their inner strength, and their ability to bounce back from life’s struggles “Knocked down over and over, but you won’t drown”, whilst urging fans to “Feel the fear and do it anyway”

Natisa Gogol is a compelling singer/songwriter based in Prague. Her journey to get to where she is today is truly inspiring and is reflected in her stunning dream pop soundscapes through emotional, storytelling lyrics and mesmerising melodies. Having been forced to flee her home in Kyiv upon the outbreak of war in Eastern Europe, Natisa turned her life upside down, determined to continue pursuing her dreams. In the years following, her empowering music has caught the attention of listeners across the globe, as people connect with her story of resilience and hope.

Her latest single “Into The Wild” is a song about female empowerment and how feminine energy rules the world. Natisa speaks about how when a woman releases all of her desires and feelings into the world, miracles happen around her. The track also delves into the primal nature that is within each and every person. The songwriter shares, “This primal nature doesn’t imply something immutable, but rather it’s about the passion that lives within us, which cannot be controlled because it is instinctive. The song is about how something within us can sometimes be stronger than us, especially when we love passionately. It suggests that we shouldn’t always suppress this, as it brings out certain feelings and emotions. Overall, it’s about the passion and fire that exist in relationships, but from a positive perspective—one of pure instinct, not vulgarity.”

Canadian pop singer & songwriter JESSIA presents her new EP, Okay With Every Part, and announces her first headline tour across North America. The Be Here Now tour begins on October 22nd in Los Angeles and includes stops in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, Montreal, and more. Tickets will be on sale on July 26th.

The tour announcement arrives alongside her independently released EP, Okay With Every Part. Wielding her sharp lyricism and powerhouse vocals, the 6-track project takes listeners on a journey of growth and change.

JESSIA opens up about the new EP: “Losing a label and a relationship within the span of 3 months shook me. I felt shame, rejection, anger, frustration, but also freedom, adventure, passion, and resilience. As much as I didn’t want to, I had to learn to accept and move through these new obstacles. Each song on this project represents a pivotal moment in my journey to finding peace and confidence again. This EP represents me accepting the good and bad parts of life so that I can look back and say, I’m okay with every part.”

ANTHONY ORTIZ
“Too Good to be True”

Fans can look forward to new music throughout the year, as Ortiz has several singles in queue before his upcoming EP release this November.

• “This song for me captures an internal love war. It’s about love at first sight with the perfect person to the point of obsessiveness, leaving you with only one thought at night: ‘Is this all just too good to be true?’ I think we’ve all had some sort of experience of feeling like we love someone more than they love us back. And while you may be waiting for disaster, you’re still along for the ride.” — Anthony Ortiz

GRANT GILBERT

• Grant Gilbert releases “This Ain’t That Song,” written alongside Dan Agee (Logan Mike, Jessie James Decker) and Beau Bailey (Kasey Tyndall, Eddie and the Getaway). • “This one is for the girl who wanted you to write her a love song, but she didn’t deserve it. She did you wrong, but she wants you to be sad and sorry. You’re everything but that… ‘So This Ain’t That Song.’” — Grant Gilbert

RUBINA
“Hate Her”

• Canadian-Iranian singer-songwriter Rubina releases “Hate Her,” co-written with and produced by Rico Love (Usher, Beyoncé). • “This song is for anyone who’s ever felt deeply hurt and struggled to find their way. It’s about accepting the truth and finding strength in that acceptance, even when it feels impossible. And through it all, knowing that despite the pain, you’ll come out stronger on the other side.” — Rubina

Grammy-nominated artist Porter Robinson released the fourth single, “Kitsune Maison Freestyle,” from his highly anticipated third studio album SMILE! 😀, releasing July 26th via MOM+POP. [Pre-order here.]

Kitsune Maison Freestyle” continues to unravel Porter’s complex relationship with celebrity and Internet culture, extending his commentary on fashion and trendsetting as he examines the bizarre balance between the pressures of social acceptance with his own desire for self-worth. Throughout the song, he toys with boasting his stylish confidence on lines like, “Your girl was staring at my bag, wouldn’t look good on her, so sad,” juxtaposed with personal and pain-filled notes, like his closing remarks expressing regret over a cosmetic procedure to replace his teeth. Porter’s latest single encompasses the duality of his artistry, honing the best aspects of his own bravado and humility while alluding to the vulnerable and honest songwriting illustrated throughout SMILE! 😀

Kitsune Maison Freestyle” is a reflection of the sonic markers that have distinguished the previous singles “Cheerleader,” “Knock Yourself Out XD,” and “Russian Roulette”, meshing elements of hyperpop, alternative, pop punk, and indie styles that have earned praise from the likes of PitchforkVultureTheFaderClashNMEThe Line Of Best Fit and more.

rising British alternative pop band daydreamers share their infectious newest single, “All I Ever Dream About.” Get it at all DSPs HERE.

An airy, yearning romantic record that delivers an effortlessly warm ambience, “All I Ever Dream About” follows the four piece’s buzzing first-ever singles “Call Me Up” and “Beach House,” released this past spring.

“All I Ever Dream About” is consistent with the sentimental value the band has poured into their prior releases. The band’s vocalist and principal songwriter, Riley, has described the band’s music as ‘sad euphoria,’ an allusion to the emotional, heart wrenching themes that the band often covers, while maintaining its buoyant musical nature. “All I Ever Dream About” continues to develop these points further, with a chorus that hits so hard it practically reaches for the clouds, giving way to themes on uncertainty and insecurity in the song’s verses.

“You’re super obsessed with somebody, and you know it’s not good for you,” Riley explains. “It’s pure infatuation, but I think this song also comes from a place of slight irony. You’re basically saying, ‘You’re all I ever dream about,’ but there’s a bit of a wink because you know the situation is never going to last.”

Famed artist RZA and Platoon today announced the official release of “A Ballet Through Mud,” an original composition and orchestration created by RZA. Originally performed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, “A Ballet Through Mud” is a poignant coming-of-age story that delves into the complexities of love, the bonds of friendship, and personal growth.

RZA found this project during the pandemic, when during lockdown he came across old lyrical notebooks he’d filled as a teen. Inspired by his early musings, RZA explored what would become his first classical album, then ballet, bringing it to life onstage in 2023.

Featuring characters named for Greek musical scales, the piece echoes RZA’s journey from
Staten Island project housing to refined concert halls – weaving in tales of love, loss, exploration, Buddhist monks, and a journey “through mud.”

“I have been composing my whole life, although I didn’t know initially that was what I was
doing. The inspiration for ‘A Ballet Through Mud’ comes from my earliest creative output as a
teenager, but its themes are universal—love, exploration, and adventure,” said RZA. “I hope
people use it to score their own lives, to transform a drive to the grocery store or sharing a meal with loved ones into something magical, to be inspired and let their imaginations take them into a different chamber, if only for a moment.”

Multi-talented producer, artist, and songwriter Little Monarch has revealed the details for her debut album, Plenty of Time, out August 16th. The anticipated full-length has been years in the making and is a collection of 13 tracks strung together in between tours and life on the road, offering a reminder to enjoy the pace of life.

Alongside the announcement, Little Monarch shares her new single, “We Got That Feeling,” capturing those special moments with loved ones that make the rest of the world fade away and turn good times into timeless memories. Carried by a steady, slippery groove and slick guitar, the funky track sees Casey Kalmenson, performing as Little Monarch, letting the production shine while seamlessly incorporating her vocals at just the right moments.

Coming off the back of a whirlwind sold out UK headline tour, as well as a series of hugely successful ‘Tom’s Town’ UK pop up appearances, BRIT Award-winning artist Tom Walker today unveils his epic new single “Holy Ghost.” The track is the third official single to be taken from his highly-anticipated new album I Amout September 20th and available for pre-order HERE.

For this gargantuan new track, think: Hozier produced by Labrinth – hymnal, electronic soul that takes the familiar contours of the love song and reimagines them. Listen HERE.

“It’s a bit like the kind of soul that’s in Take Me to Church, but with darkness, too.” explains Tom“At that point, my wedding was 11 days away, and I wanted to write a love song that didn’t really feel like a love song. It could be about any person that cares for you and looks out for you. Who’s a shadow over you, making sure that you’re OK.”

AJA shares her infectious new single Little Black Dress.

Punchy melodies and knock out vocals pin Little Black Dress as a playful new ear-worm to keep on repeat.

The new single touches on the importance of finding the confidence to exist in your own skin unapologetically. Sharing more AJA explained: “Little Black Dress” is about being proud of who you are and feeling empowered by the choices you make. It’s about those moments when you look into the mirror and see the reflection of confidence looking back at you. This song is my ode to celebrating the strength of being a woman and the power of being true to who you are.”

The new offering arrives hot on the heels of AJA’s most recent tour supporting brilliant alt-artist Charlotte SandsAJA performed at 17 different dates across Europe and the UK wowing audiences with her powerful vocal talent and captivating stage presence.

At the end of last year AJA made her mark on the US too. She embarked on a huge 22 date tour around North America with the amazing Leah Kate. Each of AJA’s live performances are met with a noteworthy spike in supporters.

With an artist moniker that pays homage to iconic figures of rock and roll, Blackie Lawless (of W.A.S.P.) and Ace Frehley (of KISS), Blace draws inspiration from the rock legends who carved their names into the annals of music history while still creating his own unique brand of rock meets pop-punk meets emo rap.

Blace emerged onto the music scene just three years ago due to the unexpected downtime created by the pandemic, bringing to fruition his love affair with music. Blace soon delved into the realms of songwriting and acting, igniting a creative fire that has now become a full-fledged artistic endeavor. Embracing a diverse array of influences ranging from the raw energy of Motley Crue and early pop-punk bands like Green Day and Sum 41 to the theatricality of KISS to the dark allure of Ozzy Osbourne, and the lyrical contents of MGK, Juice Wrld, The Kid Laroi, Blace’s sonic landscape traverses the contours of rock, punk, and alternative genres with effortless fluidity.

Blace’s formative years were spent moving around from Maine to North Carolina and Minnesota before finally settling in the music-centric city of Los Angeles. Blace, born Justin Blace, has chosen to put down the roots of his career here and create his own legacy. With his passion and persistence, Blace stands as a testament to the enduring power of music to break boundaries and spark genius. To keep up with his music, follow him on Instagram.com/Blace.wav.

Following her 2023 debut on Verdict Music with her deliciously macabre “She Wants To Kill Me”Queeny King is back with a fresh new track titled “Freak”.

Co-written and brilliantly produced by Uli Beck, a multi-talented German producer, “Freak” took flight during King’s brief hiatus following a tumultuous start to 2024.

The song, which features dark, ominous sounding synth and prominent electric guitar, will be featured in an upcoming movie which King herself co-stars in called “The Spiritualization of Jeff Boyd”.

Staying true to her signature Alt-Pop sound, King delivers a performance on “Freak” that rivals anything that you’ve probably already heard (or could reasonably expect to hear) on an episode AHS (American Horror Story) or the latest trending “it” thriller.

The track’s inspiration (the ill effects of celebrity) is a subject that King is intimately familiar with and uniquely qualified to speak about having married into a dynastic musical family.

“Freak” is a social commentary on the dark side of celebrity status with all of the unwanted trappings that it so often brings.

“I have always wanted to keep my personal life private but after a crazy start to 2024, a lot of my privacy was lost. I took some time off this summer to be with my family and friends closest to me.   I was really happy to find time to work on this song called “FREAK” with a dear friend of mine Uli Beck, whom I’ve known since my very first release with EMI Germany. ” – Queeny King

Three-piece, alt-rock band SWEET//SPINE continue their rise as the brightest new faces in the Shoegaze and Alt-Rock space, with the release of their brand new single ‘Lights Out’. The Haunting, bold sound this track is built on demonstrates the bands commitment to pushing boundaries in the alternative genres, whilst keenly delivering both grunge nostalgia and contemporary alt melodies in their music.

SWEET//SPINE is an exciting new three-piece band making a splash in South Carolina comprised of Fox Haynes (19) on guitar and vocals, Taylor Priola (21) on bass and Brannan Crook (22) on drums. Channeling the likes of Deftones, early Paramore, and the spirit of the 90s rock scene, the unsuspecting young trio have captured the attention of the Carolina scene and well beyond with their high energy live performances and viral moments.

Their newest release ‘Lights Out’ is charged with blistering guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and a striking blend of alternative, grunge, and rock sounds that together create a thrilling and haunting listening experience. Complete with a distorted, electronic edge, the track welcomes a gritty, raw sonic environment that pays homage to the early days of grunge while still incorporating modern production techniques.

Since their formation, the band has been at the forefront of a new generation in the alt-rock scene, bringing a fresh and authentic voice to the genre. Through experimenting with a range of alternative influences and styles, SWEET//SPINE have been seen to create a hybrid sound that pushes traditional rock boundaries.

SWEET//SPINE’S haunting viral breakout song, “Darkness” was officially released in July 2023 after catching fire on TikTok. The track went on to launch them into a bona fide indie phenom, with wide-spread recognition across the alt-rock scene. With new music, bigger shows, and out-of-the-box collaborations on the way, it might’ve started with “Darkness” but it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the country sees the light.

Pushing back against self doubt, Jupiter arrives as a triumphant new, unapologetic pop anthem. Breaking free from insecurity, Kirsty Grant soars in her element. Sharing a little more behind the track, she explained: ‘I wanted a song that could manifest the confidence that I had always dreamed to have, with no self-doubt and imposter syndrome, but just feeling like a star with no limits.

After learning that there are only 10 hours in a day on Jupiter from Nick the co-writer, we joked about being so confident that you can run loops around everyone else “doing double time like, like I’m on Jupiter”  by only needing 10 hours in a day vs everyone else’s 24 hours.

I hope that it can inspire caring a little less about what people think, and unapologetically focusing on yourself and what makes you happy.’

Inspired by the wonderful world of 2000’s’s pop, Jupiter boasts hypnotic hooks peppered with gritty synths. Written by Kirsty herself along with Nova May, Nick Mete and 444BOY who also was on production duty, the final product is all yours to shake off any self-doubt.

“I dance while they watch, so to hell with it.”

Memphis rockers Joybomb today share their newest single Faith & Chemistry, the second release in advance of their Modern Scripture EP. This sunny banger finds the group reaching deep into their bag of tricks to pull out a bright stick of bubblegum that doubles as a plastic explosive.

Describing the track, Joybomb singer/guitarist Grant Beatty calls it “toxic romance overdosed on the highs and lows of symbiosis, placating through sobriety, and the pursuit for dopamine in various forms.”

With it’s irrepressible hooks and bright dynamicism, “Faith & Chemistry” is a stylistic curveball in the intense wake of the punky Modern Scripture lead-off single Nanoplastique. That track harnessed some of Joybomb’s heaviest influences to deliver a tongue-in-cheek homage to a world consumed by microplastics. Leaving absurdity exposed in its wake, the scathing takedown of environmental degradation invoked the more dangerous of spirits and set the stage for the EP to come.

Nigerian DJ/ producer SPINALL released the highly-awaited visuals to his newest single, “One Call,” featuring South African Grammy-winning Tyla, Afrobeats singer-songwriter Omah Lay, and co-produced by Nigerian ProducerP.Priime. The track is available exclusively via Epic Records/TheCAPMusic.

Portugal’s striking landscapes served as the backdrop for the “One Call” music video, capturing the essence of summer and romance, with scenes of a wedding ceremony serving as an ode to Black love. Longtime SPINALL collaborator UAX directed the video, which visually narrates the track’s romantic undertones while maintaining the vibrant energy of SPINALL’s signature Afrobeats and house music sounds.

Multi-platinum rap star DDG stamps the summer today with his first official release of the season, “copy my drip.” Produced by rising rapper and producer Cash Cobain, the single arrives alongside a LewisYouNasty-directed (Wiz Khalifa, Gunna) music video.

Get the song at all DSPs HERE and watch the video HERE.

DDG’s career has progressed rapidly over the course of the last several years, and “copy my drip” encapsulates that mood. At the record’s onset, DDG is his charismatic, quick-witted self, daring doubters to underestimate everything from his touring to his fashion sense, jubilantly rap-squatting and dancing through the snow in his new video. Amid DDG’s bravado, personal anecdotes are plentiful. “I just had a son, and the sh*t just so damn fun,” he posits. Elsewhere: “I got a partner not no f*cking baby mama / They ask me when we gon’ get married, when we wanna.” All in all, the rapper, who, “just went Gold, like a bottle of Ace of Spades,” is having a blast.

It’s easy to see why DDG is feeling celebratory – he received his fourth career RIAA Gold certification this year, for his 2023 viral single, “I’m Geekin”—following the now-Double Platinum “Moonwalking In Calabasas” and Gold “Arguments” and “Hood Melody.” “I’m Geekin” is featured on DDG’s 2023 project Maybe It’s Me, which helped to push DDG’s cumulative mark of over 1.5 billion career streams. Apropos, Maybe It’s Me built off the momentum of 2022’s album, It’s Not You It’s Me, DDG’s most successful release to date. The two albums, which are nearing a billion streams combined, have established DDG as a true force to be reckoned with as a solo artist, and confidently raised his ceiling as a mainstream star. He previously appeared on XXL’s prestigious Freshman Class cover and topped Forbes “30 Under 30” list as one of the culture’s brightest future minds.  As Complex put it, “In any situation he’s in, DDG has proven that he’ll shine regardless.”

Get ready for more DDG, coming soon.

If you lean into the winds of change, you’ll take flight in the direction of your destiny. Plàsi (aka Mikael Bitzarakis) embraces a natural inclination towards evolution. Rather than tread the same territory or comfortably drift into the rhythm of the past, the Greco-Swedish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist steadily shifts course on his 2024 EP, Salamina [Nettwerk Music Group]. Joined by producer Björn Yttling [Lykke Li, Peter Björn & John, First Aid Kit], he organically expands his sonic palette, stretching beyond singer-songwriter tradition and reaching cinematic heights buoyed by a bolder sound and ambition.

It all started with a sojourn to the Greek island of Salamina…“While I was in Salamina, something in me just wanted to take that step from being ‘the guy with the guitar’ to having a full band sound,” he goes on. “I wanted everything to feel bigger.”

A distinct personal perspective has always underscored his music. Born in Crete, he actually resided in North Sweden for the better part of his childhood. However, he built the foundation for his artistry in Stockholm. “It’s where my musical base lies,” he notes. “I learned so much there.”

Flight Facilities share a brand new remix of their recent single with Enumclaw, “Days of the Week.” Following the remix earlier this month from Beatport chart-topping artist VXSION, the duo now enlists the enigmatic nostalgia sorceress, DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ, to take on the track.

Inspired by how the comfortable familiarity of nostalgia can tap into the imagination, DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ’s remix interweaves sparkling disco, synth funk, and nostalgic Y2K pop into her own signature blend. Sabrina meshes her whimsical sound with the tongue-in-cheek nature of the original. Not much is known about the London-based producer, whose bio claims a cat named Salem is uploading music from an old colonial Dutch house somewhere in 1996. Still, she’s remained prolific over the course of her brief career so far, already releasing eight tracks in 2024.

Still smoldering from his recent No. 1 Beatport release with fellow Brazilian producer Maz, VXSION’s take on “Days of the Week” melds the bass-heavy house of his home country with Afro house-inspired rhythms to create a warm but festival-ready remix. The lush piano stabs and robust percussion fill the mix and elevate it to meet VXSION’s paradisiacal, big room cravings. No stranger to hearing his music around the globe, VXSION’s productions regularly appear during the peak-time moments of the Keinemusik crew’s DJ sets in 2024.

The closeness and familiarity you have with someone is hard to let go of sometimes, and this song is me talking about my experience with that.”

Tokyo’s premier creative collective MILLENNIUM PARADE is pleased to share the release of their new single “M4D LUV.” Stream the song HERE.

The electrifying song was produced by MILLENNIUM PARADE leader Daiki Tsuneta and written by Tsuneta and Believve (Tyla’s “Water,” P1Harmony). Hedonistic and immersive in sound, the house-inspired song speaks of finding bliss in the apocalyptic. The accompanying music video, out now, was directed by MILLENNIUM PARADE Art Director Cota Mori and Creative Director Shu Sasaki. The psychedelic clip prominently features the MILLENNIUM PARADE character Oni-Angel, an AI pet that performs  Para-Para style choreography throughout, which is a Japanese dance often associated with clubbing and raving. First introduced as an easter egg in the “GOLDENWEEK” music video earlier this spring, Oni-Angel is one of the many characters fans will discover throughout their journey into MILLENNIUM PARADE’s Kong Tong Tokyo – a futuristic vision of Tokyo in New Nippon that captures the beautiful collision of chaotic cultures, creating enrapturing pieces of art on the world’s stage. Australian enigmatic artist EDDIE has returned with the latest edition of his Onzeker Kraft EP series out now via HypnoVizion. His second EP on the label and follow up to the series’ first installment last year, Vol 1.5 features previously released singles ‘UP/DOWN’, ‘Pocketknife’ with Lights, ‘Damned’ with FISE and Colleen D’Agostino, and ‘Caffeine Induced Psychosis’ with Quackson.

Onzeker Kraft Vol 1.5 is an exciting 6-track collection of industrial tones, bass-heavy builds, and mechanical accents that align with the experimental and off-kilter nature of EDDIE’s signature. The EP tests the boundaries of EDDIE’s left-of-center tendencies as he counters daring instrumentals with edgy vocal samples and powerful toplines from Lights and Colleen D’Agostino. Expanding on the intrepid midtempo bass style that lingers throughout the EP, Vol 1.5 is complemented by two new solo tracks, ‘Check This’ and ‘Collected Souls’, that add to the EP’s intrigue with their ominous and meddlesome nature.

“This EP is special to me because it’s the second and final installment of my Onzeker Kraft series (or is it?) but for real, it’s a series of music where I’ve been able to express different corners of my specific style of bass music.” – EDDIE

Nashville-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Conner Youngblood shares his new single “Running through the Tøyen arboretum in the spring,” the latest release from his highly-anticipated album Cascades, Cascading, Cascadingly, out September 6 via Missing Piece Records. Inspired by a visit to a Norwegian botanical garden, the new song finds Conner stitching together several different memories over mesmerizing vocal loops, handclaps and a wistful melody.

Detroit, Michigan-based indie singer-songwriter Ronny Tibbs shares the heartfelt, uninhibited track and Harold and Maude-inspired official video “Too Late” out now. Tibbs’ smooth, rousing EP Shorthand, is due out October 29 and available for pre-order now.

“Too Late,” out today, is ten years in the making–one of his oldest tracks that is finally seeing the light of day. Recalling when it started to come together and how it’s evolved since, Tibbs shares, “I wrote it about my then ex-girlfriend, who is now my wife. I was living in Los Angeles, and she was still back in Detroit. This song captures the essence of going so far down a road together that it’s too late to turn back and go another direction.”

Throughout the track, Tibbs grapples with the idea that not everything happens quickly, despite what society has become; good things often take time, care, and attention. Tibbs says the track is “deeply rooted in my reflections on how long certain things in life take to develop—always much longer than we’d like, especially in this day and age where everything is instantaneous. In 2024, we get answers immediately and same-day results, but I believe good things take time and work.” With the right amount of careful consideration and time, hopefully, the outcome is worth the wait. Tibbs continues, “Relationships are at the top of that list, and this song is a testament to that belief. It reminds me that while good things take time and effort, the results are always worth it.”

Saint Social is the Gulf Coast-based indie rock band of longtime friends Quinn Erwin, Bryan Bourque, and Justin Gollott. Pulling from influences far and wide as much as they have traveled far and wide to be together, Saint Social is the sum of their musical and cultural experiences.

“Yeah, we all live in different cities within a four-hour radius from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to the Florida panhandle to Birmingham, Alabama,” shares lead singer Quinn Erwin, “and I think that the lengths we’ve gone to be a band shows how much our friendship and this music mean to us.”

Although they are closer in proximity today, it wasn’t long ago that each of the members of Saint Social lived even farther apart, and we’re on different life trajectories before coming together to form this band.

As far as friendship and being connected musically is concerned, Erwin and drummer Bryan Bourque have been playing in different formations for over two decades as far back as high school. Erwin, Bourque, and Bourque’s brother-in-law, guitarist Justin Gollott, having been playing together just shy of that.

While Bourque and Gollott were building careers in 9 to 5 jobs and playing in various bands together in Biloxi, MS where they all grew up, Erwin left a career in education there to pursue music full time in Nashville, TN as a solo artist and the front man of a band called Afterlife Parade. Erwin on his own accord, amassed a worthy resume of recording and touring and found commercial success in licensing with prominent placements in independent films all over the world and TV shows on MTV, Netflix, and Hulu including major commercial spots during Super Bowl LIII, and BMW’s 2020 Light It Up holiday campaign. Throughout his decade long stints of recording and touring, Erwin always found his way back home, however, and managed to play with Bourque and Gollott in some form or fashion.

Indie rock artist Marella has just released his new EP, Wide Guy, a masterful blend of rock, indie, alternative, and jazz, touching on themes like coming-of-age, cultural identity, and overall post-college life. Stream Wide Guy on all streaming platforms now.

Marella’s new EP opens with the track “Silver Lake,” which paints a vivid picture of the chase for love. He describes feeling intimidated by a girl and her lifestyle, quickly realizing that he’s trying to mesh in an environment that isn’t true to his character. “‘Silver Lake’ explores themes of self-image, identity, and the idea of ‘cool,’” Marella explains. “I definitely cannot pull off the buzzed-dyed-hair-tattooed-ripped-jeans-cool-skinny-guy look that is all the craze in the more hip pockets of LA. I’m just me—and that’s what Wide Guy is all about.” The EP’s lead single, “I Think She’s In Love With Me,” delves into the excitement and fear of being in love, capturing the overwhelming thoughts behind romantic bewilderment with a surf-inspired style. “A Dress for the Summer” offers a nostalgic look back at youthful summers and the bittersweet memories they hold. Marella’s storytelling shines through as he reminisces about carefree days and first loves. “‘A Dress For The Summer’ is a song about my current relationship,” he adds. “It’s really a thank-you/gratitude letter to my partner. I think the song evokes nostalgia with the dark mix combined with the 2010s indie vibe that includes doubled (and even quadrupled) vocals buried by the instruments.” Taking a slower turn, the follow-up single “Salem” details the difficulties of a turbulent relationship and the lingering impact of past loves via genre-bending experimentation. Marella reflects on the early signs of a relationship and the feelings of hurt and regret. The EP closes with “Where’s My Home?,” a reflection on identity and belonging. “This song touches on my cultural identity crisis, my struggle with modern society’s pressures to find authenticity in a world dominated by superficial connections and trends, and insecurities in relationships. This might be my most honest song,” Marella reveals. In an endless cycle of second-guessing and struggling to find one’s place in the world, Marella takes a sad acoustic turn of reflection.

London based singer, songwriter and producer Kate Wild has unveiled her anticipated debut EP ‘Hopeless Optimist Listen HERE.

After cutting her teeth in the dance music space, with featured samples of her vocals amassing over 400 million streams, Kate’s solo material sees her fully spread her wings as a pop songwriter, showcasing all of her musical talents in their full glory.

Speaking about the release of ‘Hopeless Optimist’, Kate Wild says: “This EP journeys through my heartache in the exhausting world of dating via screens and statistics, while taking my bad judgments light heartedly and acknowledging the growth and confidence it’s given me moving forward. To quote the writer, Case Kenny: ‘I’d rather be a hopeless optimist than stop believing there are still good people and rewarding experiences left in the world’”.

Kate released her first official single ‘Everything I Hate About You’ back in March 2024. Opening the EP, the track sets the resilient tone that permeates throughout ‘Hopeless Optimist’, with its honest lyrics on owning mistakes and taking confidence moving forward. ‘Heartache’ brings Kate’s Scandi-pop influences to the fore with its infectiously catchy choruses and upbeat feel. ‘Who You Are’ assures listeners of their inner strength, and their ability to bounce back from life’s struggles before closing track ‘When It Rains’ fully embodies the EP’s reflective but fun energy, with its lyrics of heartache pairing with feel-good sonics to dazzling effect.

Co-produced and vocal engineered by the artist herself, Kate proudly represents the tremendous talents of female identifying producers, engineers and creators in the industry. For the EP, she also worked alongside GRAMMYnominated producer Charlie McClean (Diana Ross, Jack Antanoph, Purple Disco Machine) and Wolfgang Pander (R3hab).

The perfect antidote for anyone experiencing heartache in relationships, ‘Hopeless Optimist’ channels Kate’s inner-most thoughts through her own carefully crafted niche of powerful pop.

Doctor Noize confides, “Justin and I were debating an issue both felt strongly about. It started as disagreements often start, but quickly pivoted to something folks often don’t do: We listened to each other. It enriched our mutual understanding of a complex subject, and made it plain we both shared the same values and were just trying to understand what the hell was going on and act with integrity. He was deeply and sincerely curious to understand me. He didn’t try to win the conversation or leverage the issue for personal gain. I didn’t either. Understanding was the win. This inspired me.” The song is shared alongside aunique music video illustrated by creator Riley Cullinan and directed and edited by Sidney Cullinan.
