Michael B. Jordan Set To Direct and Star In Remake Of ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’

Michael B. Jordan is directing and starring in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. Released in 1968, The Thomas Crown Affair is a heist movie starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. The movie was nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best Original Score and Best Song, the latter of which it won. It was then remade in 1999 and starred Pierce Brosnan, Rene Russo, and Denis Leary.

Deadline reports that Michael B. Jordan has signed on to direct and star in a new version of The Thomas Crown Affair for Amazon MGM Studios. He will also serve as the movies producer.
