The two previously collaborated on 2006’s Dreamgirls, which also starred Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles, Danny Glover, and Jennifer Hudson. Now Deadline reports the two are back working on a new, still untitled biopic about George Clinton.

The script for the film is being written by Virgil Williams. Deadline also reports that, the movie “is the untold story of influential pioneer of funk and his tumultuous journey to founding musical collective Parliament-Funkadelic.
