Deadline reports that Will Ferrell is set to star in and produce Judgment Day, an upcoming comedy from Amazon Studios. In the movie himself and an entire court room are taken hostage. It will be directed by Nicholas Stoller, and the project is currently in development.
The film will follow “a young convict fresh out of prison who takes a reality TV courtroom hostage, blaming the megalomaniac TV judge (Ferrell) for a past ruling that the convict feels ruined his life,” according to a description.
