Critically acclaimed Iranian-Dutch artist SEVDALIZA is back alongside global recording artist KAROL G to present her latest single “No Me Cansare” including an accompanying music video shot in Brazil and directed by Willems Kantine – watch the music video HERE, listen to track HERE. Translating to “I won’t get tired,” “No Me Cansare” is a captivating collaboration that blends the genre-defying sound of SEVDALIZA with KAROL G’s infectious energy to deliver an anthem about unconditional love, self-empowerment, and the freedom to embrace your true self. The chemistry between SEVDALIZA and KAROL G is palpable, as their voices blend seamlessly to convey a message of a healthy love that transcends borders, both musically and emotionally.
Produced by SEVDALIZA and co-producers Mathias Janmaat and Frankie Scoca, “No Me Cansare” has a seamless fusion of alternative pop and Latin, marking a bold crossover moment that celebrates both artists’ unique styles with evocative lyrics in both English and Spanish. SEVDALIZA’s powerful verses resonate deeply with her signature avant-garde touch, while KAROL G’s vibrant vocals infuse the track with energy, creating a sonic journey that is both intimate and universal. The new single comes a month after SEVDALIZA joined KAROL G on stage during her headlining set at Rock in Rio, where they debuted SEVDALIZA’s hit song “Alibi” in front of a live audience for the first time to 150,000 fans.
“No Me Cansare is an extension of the power of female collaboration. It’s a hymn to love’s freedom, our love is wild, unbound, and unpossessive. The angel who had to believe in herself by spreading her wings, and persevered. She underwent a spiritual transformation, enabling her to soar. Despite tough times, she now stands strong, grounded in unconditional love. Her divine purpose ensures she is never tired. No Me Cansare highlights the power of female companionship” shares SEVDALIZA.
Singer-songwriter Bella Poarch releases her highly anticipated new single, “Sweet Delusion” alongside an accompanying music video – watch HERE; listen HERE. After a few months of teasing the track and building anticipation amongst her fans, Bella enters a new era of her career that will showcase a more intimate and authentic version of herself. “Sweet Delusion” narrates the bittersweet experience of falling for someone but knowing deep down that the relationship isn’t built to last. Bella captures the emotional complexity of ignoring the warning signs because of the euphoric moments.
“‘Sweet Delusion’ is a new beginning for me. I’m both excited and a little nervous for its release because it’s so different from anything I’ve done before. My hope is that anyone who listens to it feels something— because what is music without evoking feeling? This track, and this new chapter, reflect the most raw version of myself, one that’s learning to stay grounded and true despite all the external pressures and voices” shared Bella.
Co-written by Bella Poarch, Lucas Sim, Christina Galligan, and Skyler Stonestreet, and produced by Lucas Sim, the single delves deep into the intoxicating highs and inevitable heartbreaks of love. Set against a dreamy, ethereal soundscape, “Sweet Delusion” blends hypnotic beats with Bella’s introspective lyrics. The track’s chorus — “Sweet delusion, forever all-consuming, it’s a fantasy, better than being alone” — echoes the universal experience of seeking comfort in fantasy, even when reality tells a different story.
The music video, directed by Christina Xing and co-starring actor Gavin Leatherwood, gives life to the powerful emotion behind the song’s lyrics. Shot on 35mm film, it captures the raw, authentic warmth and texture that perfectly complements the song’s reflective nature. The video opens with Bella at a vanity, getting ready in a delicate bridal robe, symbolizing her anticipation and introspection. As she sings, we transition between scenes of happy memories from the relationship’s beginning—playful and endearing moments that mirror the dreamlike quality of the song. As the story unfolds, darker memories of tense moments emerge, grounding the story in the reality of the couple’s struggles

Originally written as a country song, Party Nails’ newest single “First Responder” is the artist at her collaborative best. At a creative impasse, Elana Carroll (aka Party Nails) showed the guitar-vocal demo to co-producer Ben Greenspan (Party Nails’ second album You Don’t Have To Go Home But You Can’t Stay Here features Greenspan’s co-production prominently). “Ben heard this Princey, Linn drum thing immediately, and it blew my mind!” says Party Nails. And though her bass playing is all over her music, the bass line in “First Responder” wasn’t her idea, either. Ben showed her a take from one of his collaborators, Jordan Brooks, and she was hooked. The key pieces in place, Carroll built more vocal harmonies, synth parts and a guitar solo (performed along with a harmony line by Vixen) before mixing the record as well. “I could hear in my head how I wanted it to sound, so I went ahead and did that.” But enough tech stuff—what is “First Responder” about? “Without naming names, I was so tired of dropping everything to soothe someone who seemed to always have an emergency. I felt like my loyalty was being taken advantage of. I felt like I needed to take a stand for my own peace. And I wanted there to be a bit of humor in the songwriting as well.”
Southern California fans can hear “First Responder” and her recent single “Same Old Song” at upcoming shows with Letters to Cleo: November 15 at Ventura Music Hall and November 16 at The Venice West. More show dates will be announced soon.

His gravelly, whisky-drenched vocals and passionate delivery are trademarks of the group’s sound. The Wranglers, consisting of Jackson Leverone (lead guitar, vocals), Marcos de la Cruz (drums, vocals), Henry Clift (bass guitar, vocals), and James Hamilton (guitar, vocals), provide the perfect musical backdrop for Ted Z’s evocative storytelling. With their tight rhythms, explosive guitar solos, and soulful thick vocal harmonies, the band adds depth and texture to Ted Z’s songs, creating a sound that is both timeless and contemporary.
Since their formation, Ted Z and the Wranglers have built a loyal following with their electrifying live performances and catchy Americana tunes. Sharing bills with heavy hitters including Lynyrd Skynyrd and Steppenwolf among others, the band brings their relentless energy and passion to every show.
Their first label release Ghost Train was recorded at Yellow Dog Studios in Wimberley, Texas and produced by Monte Byrom (Big House, Eddie Money). The 11 track album received acclaim from the likes of PopMatters and catapulted them into the spotlight. Their 2019 album release Southland was featured in Billboard, with the outlet praising their music as “a foot-stomping honky tonk revival”.
BERRIES unleash their sublime second album, via Xtra Mile Recordings.
STREAM THE ALBUM ‘BERRIES’ IN FULL HERE
Simply titled ‘BERRIES’, it arrives as something of a statement from the London trio and marks a major new stage in their fascinating development.
Teaming up with production legend Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Muse, Everything Everything), who took on mixing duties for the record, listeners will almost certainly feel that turbo-boost coursing through the veins of BERRIES 2.0. Of the new album BERRIES explain:
“‘BERRIES’ is about battling intrusive thoughts and finding contentment in your day, however big or small those moments are. It’s a journey to finding your own space and being comfortable in it. We haven’t held back with this album – it’s raw, honest, and a true reflection of BERRIES…. We really pushed ourselves creatively and out of our comfort zone, especially with the acoustic track and working with mixing engineer Adrian Bushby. We’re super proud of what we’ve written and created.”
Receiving early praise, CLASH championed the record as a ““A more abstract, sometimes playful second album… BERRIES have well and truly stepped up to the mark with their second album”; whilst Louder Than War echoed their sentiments hailing it as “a frantic rush of powerful and even profound lyrics set to bold and intense musical patterns… Berries is a tantalising amalgam of doubt and resolve, resignation and optimism”.
“Why?” is the brand new single from Beans on Toast.
A song all about those existential questions with potentially non-existent answers, Beans says of the track:
“Why? Is a song about life’s big questions, the ones that don’t have answers. Sometimes, it’s good to just ponder the mystery of it all. It’s fun. I kinda see it as an old skool hymn with a twist!”
Pairing universally mind-bending conundrums to those tongue twisting lyrical quips that Beans does best, its exultant accompanying keys come courtesy of Matt Millership.
The track follows recent single “Myths & Legends”, with both songs due to feature on Beans on Toast’s approaching new album release ‘Wild Goose Chasers’ (out 1st December, pre-save the album here).
While its idiosyncratic title may be typical of the wry turn-of-phrase we have come to expect from the Essex songwriter, listeners should expect a very different animal for his latest release. A collection of newfangled pagan hymns to coincide with the end of truth, these sparsely-arranged, supernaturally-shaded songs promise to be unlike anything the artist has conjured previously. As Beans says:
“These songs are about trading modern society for a wilder, more feral existence. Songs that dig deep into the meaning of life and our purpose on Earth. They provide an exit strategy from a boring dystopia by gambling the flood for a fairy tale. This might sound pompous, but such is life, and such is the wild goose chase.”
London-based alternative artist Eden Rain takes another bold step in her artistic evolution with the release of her latest single ‘Taking’, the next offering from her highly anticipated upcoming project. Known for her narrative-like lyricism and eclectic, alt-leaning sound, Eden delves deep into the complexities of human relationships, unraveling the intricate dynamics of the people around her.
Flyght Club is the musical project of Los Angeles based Shauvik Sharan. Flyght Club’s music emphasizes versatility, covering a wide range of popular genres and exploring new styles, with each song designed to fit different moods and emotions. Self-written, produced, performed and mixed by Shauvik himself, the result is both genuine and authentic, allowing listeners to connect with the artist on a deeper level.
Originally from Pune, India, Shauvik moved to Los Angeles 9 years ago. Growing up on classic rock artists such as Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and Pink Floyd built Shauvik’s strong foundation in music and encouraged him to master the guitar at an early age. After a couple years of playing in rock bands and winning DJ competitions, Shauvik decided to focus on the art of production and engineering, as well as singing and songwriting. This is what gave birth to his project Flyght Club.
His latest release “Nobody Else Knows” marks the beginning of a new chapter for Flyght Club, after taking some time off to focus on the direction of his new sound. Introducing an 80’s synth pop meets modern blues rock track, “Nobody Else Knows” is equal parts infectious and dynamic, showcasing a unique blend of styles. Shauvik explains, “The goal with this song was to make honest music, going back to my roots with giving importance to the electric guitar, both in terms of production and songwriting, while still making something groovy and fun that people can dance and sing along to.”
Acclaimed songwriter Patrick Davis proudly announces the release of his latest single and title track off his forthcoming album, due out this December, “Carolina When I Die.” This heartfelt tribute to South Carolina captures the beauty of home, reflecting Davis’ personal journey and the universal connection we all share with our special places. Joined by friends and fellow South Carolinians Darius Rucker and Edwin McCain, the song resonates with their shared love for the region.
“Carolina When I Die” means more to Davis than any song he has ever written. “Every time I sing it live, I see how it resonates with the audience, transporting them to their own versions of home,” he explains. “It’s a beautiful reminder that music is magic and that everyone has a special place they can connect to.” He adds, “Having Darius and Edwin sing on this song is not just special because of their incredible voices and talents, but also because the three of us are ole’ South Carolina buddies singing about a place we love like no other place on Earth.
“When I sing ‘Carolina When I Die,’ I see the audience connect with their own memories and special places,” Davis shares. “It’s a universal experience that reminds us all of the importance of home and belonging.”
Toronto dream pop duo Soft Set is back with a brand new single and video ‘Gone’, out now on all digital streaming platforms. Listen here.
‘Gone’ is the lead single and title track from Soft Set’s new EP (out on November 15th) and it marks a refreshing evolution in their sound. Known for their introspective lyrics and moody instrumentals, Soft Set has often navigated darker themes in their past work. However, with their new Gone EP, they venture into more uplifting territory that showcases their growth as artists.
“The one thing that really surprised us while making the Gone EP was how much lighter and more hopeful it ended up being,” says Soft Set’s Nathan Athay. “It started off really dark during the demo phase, but once we began layering in harmonies, it took on a more uplifting vibe, which we weren’t expecting. It was a nice surprise for us, and it made the entire process more interesting, for sure!”
Shot in Toronto, the video for ‘Gone’ almost didn’t happen because of a last minute no show on the day of the shoot. But thanks to some quick thinking from the band and a little help from a stranger, they were able to pull everything off in the end.
Says Nathan: “When we first planned the video for ‘Gone’, we had invited a friend to be in it, but they didn’t show up on the day of the shoot. I ended up walking into The Local pub on Roncesvalles, where I met Alandra McKirdy and explained the situation. Alandra graciously accepted our last-minute invitation to step in, and we are incredibly thankful for her involvement. Without her, the video might not have come together the way it did.”

‘‘You Used To Do It Best’ is a song about wanting to experience the first time feelings of falling in love all over again. It’s such an exciting feeling getting to know someone, and doing things together for the first time. I missed that nervous/excited energy that had been replaced by a deep level of comfortability and understanding that comes with a long term relationship. I felt we knew each other almost too well and wanted to feel those first time feelings once more. This song is about wanting to do it all over again with that person.” – Zola Courtney

Tokyo’s premier creative collective MILLENNIUM PARADE shares their brand new single “KIZAO” featuring global Latin superstar Rauw Alejandro and 2-time GRAMMY-winning producer and artist Tainy. Stream the song HERE and watch the official music video HERE.
A meeting of the minds that fuses together cultures and smashes barriers, “KIZAO” is notably one of the first major collaboration between Japanese and Latin artists on a large scale. The song fuses together the DNA of several genres and touchdowns of the music of MILLENNIUM PARADE, Rauw Alejandro and Tainy and turns into something brand new, ultra-modernly global, and truly forward-looking.
Says MILLENNIUM PARADE leader Daiki Tsuneta, “meeting Rauw Alejandro and Tainy during a recent stay in Miami became the driving force behind us coming together to create ‘KIZAO.” The song has hints of their reggaeton roots mixed in with the vibe of Japanese city pop, making it a perfect blend of our cultures, and something we are all super proud of.”
“It was always a goal of mine to be able to do music in Japan, so to finally do it with MILLENNIUM PARADE and Daiki feels amazing,” adds Tainy. “Happy to be a part of this amazing track and to have my brother Rauw Alejandro on it, too, makes it even better. Hope everyone enjoys it.”
“I’m excited about the collaboration with MILLENNIUM PARADE, Daiki, and my brother Tainy on this new project,” Rauw Alejandro concludes. “It’s been a fusion of our different worlds—bringing together the energy of Japan’s innovative sound and the rhythms of Puerto Rico. The creative chemistry has been unreal, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve crafted.”
With interwoven narratives about love lost, ghostly encounters and mourning, “Heal My Mind” by TT releases on Friday, October 18, 2024. The third single from his forthcoming debut album, Man on the Corner, the song and accompanying video exemplify TT’s dedication to turning life’s challenges into something beautiful and empowering.
“I lost someone close to me,” the LA-based troubadour says. “For a long time after their passing, I felt their presence stay with me – in my most vivid dreams, emotions, senses, and sometimes in physical encounters. Yet their loss was so hard to bear. ‘Heal My Mind’ is the story of such a feeling, deep loss coupled with a spiritual presence.” LISTEN HERE.
Directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts, the “Heal My Mind” video brings to life the story of a widower who lost his soulmate. “As the husband mourns, he returns to the place they enjoyed their life together, but also, where she drowned – the ocean,” TT explains. “He often flashes back to their earthly, wonderful, romantic experiences, as her ghost returns in a desperate attempt to communicate. However, her constant haunting causes him such anguish that he becomes torn between love and fear and starts to lose his mind.”
Iconic French duo Polo & Pan, consisting of Paul Armand-Delille (Polo) and Alexandre Grynszpan (Pan), are back with their new single “Nenuphar.” Accompanied by the Mexico-based all-female multi-genre collective I.M YONI (Independent Musicians of Yoni) and recorded in Mexico City, “Nenuphar” highlights the pair’s signature electro-disco sound. The track effortlessly blends nostalgia, futurism, and carefree joy, resonating with audiences around the world.
“Nenuphar” translates to waterlily, a flower that closes at night and reopens at dawn, symbolizing daily spiritual rebirth. This symbolism is woven into the track’s essence, inviting listeners on a rhythmic journey to dance until sunrise—and if the mood strikes, to begin again.
Tyler Ramsey has released the deluxe edition of his fifth studio album New Lost Ages (Soundly Music). The Deluxe Edition features two previously unreleased B-sides: “Song Out Of My Head,” which was released earlier this fall and “Paper Hearts.” “Song Out Of My Head” is a study of recurring thoughts, explains Tyler. “Memories or images or maybe regrets that might keep you up in the middle of the night. At the same time, it’s a search for hope.” “Paper Hearts” reflects on a trip to New York City taken after the loss of a friend.
“Paper hearts” is a photograph of a trip I took up to New York City a long time ago after the loss of a friend. This song went through a lot of changes and I am so happy with this final version- Scott Moore’s string arrangements are breathtaking and Carl Broemel added some beautiful pedal steel. Was a dream to work with Phil Ek and when I listen to this song it takes me back to our time at Avast Recording Studio in Seattle and reminds me what a special record we made together.
Electronic visionary Rezz has teamed up with anonymous newcomer X1-Y2 for their forward-thinking four-track NOVUSEP out now via HypnoVizion.
After introducing fans to X1-Y2 with their collaborative rework of ‘Edge’, Rezz has tested the power of the duo’s creativity through their groundbreaking new EP. NOVUS offers a striking contrast to Rezz’s previous project, exploring the experimental corners where midtempo bass and minimal tech converge. The resulting four tracks are riveted by daring sound design and ambitious structure built around dystopian sonic motifs.
“I wanted to channel a futuristic/industrial/sinister vibe with this project and reconnect with the part of myself which was creating instrumental heavy, cutting edge records. Working with X1 was a seamless experience and we managed to complete this EP from start to finish in a very quick and efficient way. To say I’m proud of this EP is an understatement. I feel confident my audience will appreciate these records the same way I do.” – Rezz
“NOVUS is a huge achievement for me, not only by being able to work closely with one of the biggest inspirations in music today, but by also being able to push the threshold of creation with new concepts and showcase it with this EP. We aimed for an industrial/futuristic soundscape where we could mix both of our music styles, and it just simply clicked – from conception to finish everything made sense and kept flowing easily. A huge pleasure.” – X1-Y2

Progressive/post-rock ensemble Versa are thrilled to present A Voyage / A Destination, Part 2 – the beautifully sophisticated and resonant follow-up to 2022’s extraordinary A Voyage / A Destination
The greatest music goes beyond merely entertaining us; instead, it conjures deep and varied emotions by evoking the universal hopes, fears, and experiences of humanity. Few modern artists embody that sentiment as wonderfully as Canadian progressive/post-rock troupe Versa. Founded in 2007, the group has spent over 15 years perfecting their superb chemistry of serene vocals; eloquent songwriting; and majestically ornate, diverse, and engrossing instrumentation across their first four collections (2007’s Versa, 2010’s The Decline & Fall of…, 2012’s Common Things EP, and 2022’s A Voyage / A Destination).
The latter album, in particular, did a phenomenal job of melding all of Versa’s strengths into an awe-inspiring journey reminiscent of stylistic heavyweights such as The Autumn Chorus, The Dear Hunter, Neal Morse, Gazpacho, Sufjan Stevens and even classic (‘70s) Genesis and Gentle Giant! Unsurprisingly, they’ve outdone themselves once again on their latest LP: A Voyage / A Destination, Part 2. Expanding upon everything that made its direct predecessor so remarkable, it finds Versa reaching new heights of creativity, unity, introspection, and life affirming poignancy.
Versa consists of founders Matthew Dolmage and Hollas Longton, and long-time drummer Jesse Bell. Just as their last venture was complemented by top-tier guests such as Jim Grey (Caligula’s Horse), Nick D’Virgilio (Big Big Train, ex-Spock’s Beard), Lars Fredrik Frøislie (Wobbler), and Marjana Semkina (Iamthemorning), so too is A Voyage / A Destination, Part 2 thanks to the invaluable contributions of genre superstars such as Ross Jennings (Haken), Sam Vallen (Caligula’s Horse), Michael Trew (Moon Letters) and Kelly Nordstrom (eMolecule, Sound of Contact).
Touching upon why there was such a lengthy gap between the releases of Common Things and A Voyage / A Destination, Dolmage explains that it was due to numerous lineup and life changes (which ultimately led Versa to go on hiatus between 2014 and 2020). For instance, several members pursued new careers and/or furthered their education, as Dolmage elucidates: “We started recording A Voyage / A Destination – initially conceived as a double album – in 2014, but it never really went anywhere because we were all invested in more personal pursuits. We were all in our 30s at that point and I figured things were pretty much done for us.”
Specifically, Dolmage was enrolled in law school, and relocated to Dawson Creek in northern British Columbia to begin his legal career. It was near the end of his time there that he discovered a newfound passion for his own artistic endeavors.
“I’d discovered the music of Neal Morse. I had been a fan of classic prog, particularly Jethro Tull and Genesis, for most of my life; however, it was only then that I started exploring modern progressive music more. I was also highly influenced by Morse‘s personal story of being a struggling musician who couldn’t catch a break in his 20s, pivoted to progressive music, and finally found success in his mid-30s. I was listening to a lot of Ninja Sex Party at the time, too, and they have a similar kind of backstory,” Dolmage reflects.
By early 2020, Dolmage and wife Julia (who provides lead and backing vocals on A Voyage / A Destination, Part 2) moved back to Victoria, B.C., and he decided to get the band back together in the hopes of reworking older tunes amidst writing fresh compositions. He clarifies:
The idea behind Versa had always been to combine elements of post rock, progressive rock, and indie rock music, but I pushed us to pursue a stronger progressive direction in the music with the A Voyage / A Destination duology. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I basically ended up taking all the bits and pieces we’d written together and arranging them by myself, and writing some new pieces as well. We started recording things separately, siloed in our own spaces.
Expectedly, having Jim Grey and Nick D’Virgilio help with the first half of the saga meant the world to Versa. “They were so enthusiastic about the project, and having such amazing players really pushed us to elevate our performances and polish our arrangements as much as possible. Naturally, those connections drove me to reach out to other people, eventually getting Marjana Semkina, Lars Fredrik Frøislie, and Eric Gilette on board, too. All of them were equally keen, and did amazing work,” Dolmage rejoices.
Obviously, Dolmage relished any and all chances to get more progressive/art rock royalty on the record. Luckily, attending the lauded Cruise to the Edge nautical festival in 2022 provided the ideal opportunity to network and increase A Voyage / A Destination’s esteemed cast of extra talent.
He describes:
It was my and Julia’s first time at CTTE, and honestly, it was the best week of my life! The entire experience was exhilarating and stimulating. I got to meet Nick D’Virgilio in person, as well as Neal Morse, Riverside, Haken, and so many other amazing musicians. Plus, I got to know countless progressive rock and metal fans who were incredibly positive. I saw Moon Safari for the first time, too, and watched The Martin Barre Band perform Thick as a Brick (during which Alan Parsons sat next to me – a surreal experience!)
Andie Loren is a Toronto based singer/songwriter. Her music is a mix of dream pop and rock. Her lyrics focus on love, loss and the rollercoaster of emotions and questions we have in relationships. Songs are characterized by her desire to understand human nature, and how love can consume us in positive and negative ways. Her rich, warm vocals are heartfelt and her approach to writing is honest, straightforward and open. Her latest EP “Some Special Light” is a concept album. It looks into our desperate need to matter to someone, and the highs and lows that come along with it.
Musician. Artist. Producer. These terms are often overused, but occasionally an artist emerges who redefines their meaning. Staytus, the musical alter-ego of recording prodigy Sam Grundemann, is one such force, constantly pushing the boundaries of music-making. Her upcoming single “68 Kill,” the first in her Twisted Frames series, is set to further showcase her unique vision.
“68 Kill” is an unapologetically raw and powerful track that delves into the darker side of emotional manipulation and reclaiming one’s power. Produced at Secret Hand Studios in Los Angeles, Staytus collaborated with Matt McJunkins of A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, whose bass and synth work added depth and intensity to the sonic landscape of the song. The experience pushed Staytus to elevate her creativity and vocal delivery, resulting in a track that captures the emotional essence of the Twisted Frames series, inspired by the films of Criminal Minds actor Matthew Gray Gubler.
This new release follows her previous single “Can You Hear Me?,” produced by Sean Beavan, known for his work on Nine Inch Nails’ The Downward Spiral. Can You Hear Me? delves deep into themes of isolation, inner turmoil, and the desperate search for connection, blending evocative imagery with raw emotion. This track further showcased Staytus’ ability to create thought-provoking and emotionally charged music.
With the upcoming Twisted Frames series, Staytus continues the momentum from her 2022 debut Disease of the Mind and her sophomore album Wasteland of Broken Hearts. Grundemann, who has multiple recording degrees and certifications, has crafted Staytus as a digital dark-angel avatar, confronting the myriad challenges facing today’s young adults.
At the cutting edge where new recording technology and artistry converge, Staytus continues to translate trauma, betrayal, heartbreak, and grief into sound from a non-neurotypical perspective. Staytus speaks to contemporary issues in a way that resonates with today’s listeners.

Cree Métis artist iskwē | ᐃᐢᑫᐧᐤ (short for waseskwan iskwew, meaning “blue sky woman”) is sharing a new release which reimages a crucial piece of her most recent album, nīna, a 10-song collection of both electronic and sweeping chamber pop which evokes the intense emotions of a turbulent period in her life.
Recorded in Mexico City at Panoram Studios at a point in the pandemic when in-person contact was only beginning to resume, this rendition of nīna album track, “Caught In The Waves,” utilizes an incredible group of musicians and friends to create rich harmonies and a nimble orchestral backdrop to iskwē’s vocals.
Of the song’s themes, the artist shares that “Caught In The Waves” zooms in on the conflicting emotions of a turbulent love affair. Featuring Latin instrumentation including the charango, marimba, and cuatro, this live recording trembles with a delicacy that echoes the vulnerable nature of iskwē‘s past relationship.
Sean Ryder Wolf, Paul McDowell, James Gibson, and Dave Staton, a.k.a. Another State, the UK’s pioneering pop-country fourpiece crossover male harmony band, are thrilled to announce their latest single, “Ride Or Die.” This energetic and exhilarating track is perfect for bringing friends together and kicking off the party!
Another State have quickly garnered a dedicated following with their unique sound that seamlessly bridges pop and country. Drawing inspiration from genre-blending artists like Post Malone, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé, they create something truly special, with their very own twist. Their music takes listeners on an emotional journey to all of life’s frontiers: Through the ups and downs of love and relationships, the thrill of chasing your dreams, and spontaneous late-night adventures with your closest friends. Picture a harmonious fusion that combines pop’s catchy allure with the raw essence of country music: nostalgic yet boldly innovative.
“Ride Or Die” is the third single from the band and follows the debut “All You Need“ and sophomore single “The Only One”andshowcases and the more raw and ‘full on’ country rock sound that the band have wholeheartedly embraced. Sean Ryder Wolf knew two things about the track: firstly, that he had written something very different and very special and, secondly, that although he had the melodies but no other lyrics, this song simply had to have the title “Ride Or Die”!
Immediately with having that song title in mind, the band knew the track was going to be a powerhouse of vibrant energy and super fun – or as Ryder Wolf puts it – “an exciting high octane ‘night out with your buddies’ sort of vibe … full of energy and one you can play loud when you’re driving!”. The band loved collaborating while writing the song, Ryder Wolf claiming “it felt pretty liberating writing a song which had that ‘weekend’ feeling and had a lot of fun helping come up with lyrics which encompassed both being with your friends, and also having an exciting experience meeting a girl when you’re out.”

East Nashville-based rock band Her Leather Jacket is already making a name for themselves as the spirit of the early pop-punk scene prevails in the music and the atmosphere they create. When Manny Blu (vocals) found himself in the right setting, he was finally able to create the band and the music he wanted since moving to Nashville in 2018. Blu had an open slot for a best friend, and drummer Wes Snyder was first in line. Citing such influences as Blink-182, The All-American Rejects, and All Time Low, the duo’s debut self-titled EP released in the Fall of 2023 embracing the pop-punk sound, but they’re calling 2024 their “Fuck You” Era with a chaotically epic new EP on the horizon.
The essence of HLJ: make good fucking music and have a good fucking time.

Fast rising talent Charles releases stunning new single “YADAYADA”, taken from his highly anticipated EP Gorgeous, Sick & Tired – out November 22nd.
Opening with Charles’ impressive and highly addictive falsetto vocals, laced with funk-infused textures and harmonies, the track’s witty and insightful lyrics tell the story of the London based artists’ battle with the often-toxic side of the music industry. Syncopated drum loops and staccato chords are embedded throughout, leaving space for a mesmerising, keys led, stripped back middle 8 as Charles playfully sings “watching paint dry on a school night” as he references the mundane carousel of the industries obsession with viral ‘moments’.
Talking on the track Charles tells us: “After spending 3 weeks in LA writing, I came into the studio one day with Jackson Wise & Jaye Locke feeling super frustrated. YADAYADA is about my battle with the current industry and the obsession to go viral. I had been surrounded with super talented artists, who all deserve their flowers but we’re being pushed back due to not having enough followers/views. It explores my strong desire to ‘make it’ as well as my jealousy for not quite being there yet. Written by Jaye Locke, Jackson Wise & myself, the track is a fun curve ball that sits in just the right spot amongst the EP.”
