Sarah Michelle Gellar has shared the first set photo from I Know What You Did Last Summer 3, confirming that production on Sony Pictures’ third installment has officially started. Gellar confirmed in recent interviews that she won’t be returning for the third installment. She did say though because she is close with director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, she would somehow still have an unofficial part in the project.
“My best friend [Jennifer Kaytin Robinson] is directing it, so we joke that I have an unofficial job, which is I am continuity,” she said. “So I’m always the one telling her, ‘Well, that would happen, or that wouldn’t happen with those characters,’ so I do have kind of an unofficial job title.”
