Along with a new photo recently released, Quiver Distribution has set a US release date for the Daisy Ridley-led action movie Cleaner. The film set in present-day London, will follow Ridley’s ex-soldier Joey Locke, who now works in one of the UK’s tallest buildings as a window cleaner.
The upcoming film will be hitting theaters on February 21, 2025.
Cleaner’s film description states it will center on a group of radical activists who have taken over the “energy company’s annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts. Their just cause is hijacked by an extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world. It falls to an ex-soldier turned window cleaner, played by Daisy Ridley, suspended 50 storeys up on the outside of the building, to save those trapped inside.”
