Universal Pictures officially made the announcement today the Christopher Nolan‘s next movie will be an adaptation of a literary classic. Universal Pictures revealed that Nolan’s next movie will be an adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey.
“Christopher Nolan’s next film The Odyssey is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology,” reads Universal’s post. “The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.”
Previously, it was announced that Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway will all star in the feature film. The Odyssey will release in the United States theaters on July 17, 2026.
