Hello Ravengriim welcome to OLC! Your underworld-themed creations and cosplay artistry have captivated millions. What inspired you to start creating content in this niche and why the name Ravengriim?

Hello, thanks for having me and for the kind words! I have always loved cosplay and the underworld as well as creating content so I suppose it just happened naturally. As for my handle, Grimm with two m’s was taken so the two i’s were necessary.

With over 51 million likes across platforms, what do you think makes your content resonate so strongly with your audience?

Thank you! I think my audience and I share similar interests, so it allows up to connect through content!

Your cosplay videos, such as Yor Forger and Lady Dimitrescu, consistently go viral. What’s your creative process for bringing characters to life?

I don’t usually have brainstorm sessions for short form, but I find and think of ideas all the time and save them for when I am creating. For long form I do like to have my concepts and plan out a bit if I need a script or have points to touch on, though sometimes creating in the moment is great as well!

You’ve cosplayed a range of characters, from anime icons to horror legends. Which cosplay has been the most challenging, and why?

Definitely my Sesshomaru cosplay since I (poorly) made that myself. It was falling apart all day long, and there were so many parts that it was just a nightmare to hold it together but it’s still my favorite cosplay.

I know the audio is from Bleach buuuut I feel like it kind of fits Yor ok!!🩸 #yorforger #yorcosplay #spyxfamily #animetiktok ft. @Lux.cher hehe ♬ Invasion (from “Bleach”) – Metal Version – Rocco Minichiello

How do you balance maintaining accuracy to beloved characters with adding your unique artistic touch to your cosplay creations?

I love doing cosplays that are more anime accurate but with a twist so obviously I’ve cosplayed male characters; I just make the female version as close as I can. Or I find a variation that fits my style better.

What advice would you give to aspiring cosplayers who want to stand out in such a competitive space?

I say don’t let accuracy or budget discourage you, I’ve seen incredible cosplays that are totally original or crafted from scratch and spare materials. Just do what you love and have fun; the whole point is to have fun with it.

You’ve successfully expanded your brand as an entrepreneur. How do you approach building a business while staying true to your creative roots?

I think focusing on a related field or product is great to stay true, but it doesn’t have to be. If you’re a creator and want to be an entrepreneur in an entirely different market that is fine too! I think it’s great to branch out.

What’s next for your brand? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations your fans should look forward to?

I’m working on a podcast that is looking like it will launch around February or March of 2025 so I’m very excited about that!

Your social media presence is massive, with millions of followers. How do you stay connected with your community and foster a sense of engagement?

Thank you! I try to reply to as many comments as I can, take input from people about what content they want to see in the future, and answer other questions like that. I can’t reply to every single one and there are certainly people who get mad, but I’m just one person on my social media accounts so I’m trying my best!

Who or what inspires your work, both in terms of your cosplay and your entrepreneurial ventures?

I’m not inspired by one specific person, but by many people and pieces of media! For example, shows like my favorite anime or movies, as well as other creators and even architecture or beautiful landscapes and countries! So many things all over are inspiring to me.
