NBC has given a pilot order to a new comedy from executive producers Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan. Currently untitled, it will star Morgan as a disgraced former football player on a mission to rehabilitate his image.
The untitled NBC comedy pilot will be written by Robert Carlock and Sam Means, who also worked on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. Carlock co-created Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt with Fey. Rhys Thomas will direct the pilot.
