Hasbro has officially partnered with 20th Century Television to develop a new live-action series of Power Rangers which will debut on Disney+. The series will be based on the original ’90s show called The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. Percy Jackson and the Olympians showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz have entered negotiations to write, showrun, and produce the live-action series.
The show is expected to “reinvent the franchise for a whole new generation of fans while delighting those who already know and love the world of Power Rangers.”
