Born, raised, and based in Los Angeles CA, Gabriella Zauna has proven to be a jack of many trades. At just 19 years old, she has emerged as a multifaceted artist, blending her talents as a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer in the captivating realm of alternative dark pop, which she describes as pop music with a bit of an unstructured darker twist. A fusion of pop sensibilities with an evocative edge, she seamlessly weaves together melodies that linger in the shadows, inviting listeners into a world where emotions are raw and experiences are profound.
Gabriella’s journey into music began early, with the melodies of her soul finding expression as early as seven years old. Fueled by personal experience and an inner battle with herself, her art became not only a means of expression but also a lifeline during moments of deep depression. Through her music, she discovered a language that transcended the limitations of words, a conduit through which she could channel her innermost thoughts and emotions.
Embracing the role of a “one-woman band,” Gabriella takes full ownership of her creative process. From inception to execution, she meticulously crafts each element of her music, breathing life into her compositions with a rare authenticity and vulnerability. Her dedication to her craft is evident in every note and lyric, as she strives to create art that resonates deeply with her audience. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists such as Lana Del Rey, RAYE, and The Japanese House, Gabriella is enamored with the power of lyrical writing that transcends the conventional boundaries of expression. She revels in the ambiguity of metaphor, crafting narratives that not only engage the mind but also stir the soul.
Beyond her musical prowess, Gabriella possesses a rare gift: synesthesia. For her, each song is not merely a composition of sounds but a rich tapestry of colors, textures, and shapes. This sensory disorder infuses her music with a palpable authenticity, as she draws upon the kaleidoscope of sensations to breathe life into her creations. The color blue, in particular, holds a special significance in her artistry, serving as a visual anchor amidst the swirling depths of her sonic landscape.
With each song she shares with the world, Gabriella Zauna invites listeners on a journey into the depths of her soul. It is a journey marked by moments of introspection, passion, and unbridled creativity—a journey that resonates with all who dare to embark upon it. As she continues to weave her sonic tapestry, one thing remains certain: Gabriella Zauna is an artist poised to leave an undeniable mark on the world of music.

While the horror saga of PROJECT U MOVE continues to captivate fans with the release of Part 2 on February 21, 2025, CG5 is turning up the heat with today’s release of his new single “LA LA LOVE.” Featuring Kyle Exum, the track brings a new layer of intensity to the already dark atmosphere of the series.
This single, alongside its visually haunting music video, drops February 28th, and promises to elevate the tension and suspense that fans have come to love. “LA LA LOVE” marks the perfect musical companion to the twisted narrative of PROJECT U MOVE, adding a powerful, rhythm-driven element to the chilling tale.
Fans can now watch Part 2 of the film, where the chilling influence of the mysterious VHS tape continues to spread. Rose, entranced by the red glow of her TV, is discovered by her mother, who frantically calls for help. Her father attempts to unplug the TV, but the red light persists, leaving Rose motionless and trapped under its power.
Meanwhile, Jesse and Sam, a nomadic couple, arrive at Ruby’s Bayou in their “camper of dreams.” While exploring the shore, Jesse finds a red VHS tape hidden in a bush, which briefly ensnares him until Sam snaps him out of it. Back at their camper, Jesse plays the tape, and the screen turns red, once again entrancing him – though Sam is protected by a special crystal. Meanwhile, at home, Emma finds Charlie in a disturbing, unresponsive state, hunched over and seemingly lost under the tape’s deadly influence, unable to reach him.

Folk singer-songwriter Charlotte Morris is back with her latest single “created me,” the fourth pre-release single from her upcoming album both sides out May 1st. This track utilizes the artist’s soaring vocals and unique storytelling ability to convey a message of finding one’s identity in their heritage and paying homage to those before them. As do many of her songs, this single plays like an intimate conversation between performer and audience, immersing listeners into Morris’s thoughts. “created me” is now available to stream on all digital platforms worldwide.
“created me” honors the individuals of our pasts, as well as their hopes and dreams, which continue to live on vicariously through us. Sonically, the melodies carry a heavy sense of introspection and familial love. In describing the song’s origin, Charlotte Morris says, “There are so many things in my life that I never noticed were because of how my parents did things, and they did it because [of] their parents…This idea stuck with me for a while…Then finally, as I found myself reflecting more and more on the subtle yet profound ways in which our ancestors shaped us, through traits, traditions, and even the smallest quirks, ‘created me’ came to be.” If the record-in-full can be viewed as a tapestry of her ancestry, each verse becomes a separate tribute to her family tree’s legacy. Morris’s reflective thoughts can also be heard in her lyrics: “Will the laugh my daddy taught to me / Continue down our family tree / To children that I one day hope to have…Do I have her smile from hundreds of years ago / Do I squint my eyes like he did when he was a kid / It is more of who came before…” The singer hopes this track can shed light on what it means to be a small part of a bigger universal story and encourages audiences to celebrate this expression of love and lineage. “created me” was produced by William Gawley, mixed by Bryce Roberts (Taylor Swift, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire), and mastered by Sage Audio.

If nerditude had a formal name, it would be Grace Morrison.
She’s a little bit of everything—pianist, accordion player, Renaissance Faire performer, cranberry grower, reader of historical nonfiction, coffee devotee (she sells her own coffee blend), and an unapologetic expert on all things New England. And somehow, all these quirks weave seamlessly into the fabric of her music, making her one of the most unique and endearing songwriters around.
Born and raised on the shores of Cape Cod, Grace Morrison has trademarked a sound she calls Saltwater Country. “I was always too pop for folk and too folk for country. Eventually, I started peeling back the layers of my music to find out what truly made it mine. At the heart of it all was my deep, undeniable connection to the Cape Cod coastline—it’s in my blood, in my voice, in every lyric I write. My music carries the storytelling of country, the twang, but also the raw, unshakable spirit of a Swamp Yankee. That’s Saltwater Country.”
Proudly unconventional, she’s never held what some would call a “real job”,She says “it’s always been music and how lucky am I that music has given me this wild, unpredictable journey through the human experience. I wouldn’t trade that for anything.”
Her career started when she was in high school playing at coffee shops, where she sang for tips—one of which came from none other than actor James Spader. “I still have the $20 he left me,” she laughs.
Not long after, she hit the road with Rock 4 Xmas, sharing the stage with legends like Eddie Money, Joey Molland (Badfinger), Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, writer of Da Ya Think I’m Sexy), and Greg Douglass (Steve Miller Band, co-writer of Jungle Love).
“I was 17, on a tour bus with rock icons. You can’t ask for a better crash course in rock ‘n’ roll than that. I could tell you some stories,” she says with a knowing grin. “It was Spinal Tap in real life—literally, someone from that movie was on the tour. But for me, the biggest thing was realizing that this life—touring, performing—was possible. All I’ve wanted since then was to get back on that bus.”

NYC dreamgaze band PANIK FLOWER today releases their new single and video “ocd.” The single is the second track from rearview, their sophomore EP that arrives on April 30. “ocd” rolls off of vocalist Sage Leopold’s tongue as the pointed, yet syrupy, “obsessive consumption diet.” With a guitar riff floating in outer space, the song remains shackled to earth by a formidable rhythm section. Haunting and anxiety-ridden, “ocd” is an unending loop of cyclical bingeing — Stream “ocd” / Pre-save rearview.
“The song explores the obsessive and addictive relationship we have with media consumption in today’s world and how that shapes us as individuals,” shares Leopold. “It has a complete chokehold on our daily functions living in the modern world even when you’re aware of how toxic it is. The chorus really drives this point home with the repetition of the lines ‘you catch yourself but you can’t catch a break, you catch yourself but you can’t look away.’”

Look no farther! Your prayers have been answered! The Wild High are here!
The sound is a mash up of roots rock, country, rock n roll, and a whole lot of good times ready to liven up any location.
The band started as the brainchild of Jon Harvey (former lead vocalist/songwriter for Canadian rockers Monster Truck), who recruited a tailor made cast of players from the Southern Ontario area, and formed a country rock juggernaut. A real “swamp thing” if I may.
The rest of the gang are Myke Penney (The Jailbirds) guitar and vocals, Pete Antoniou (Revive The Rose) banjo and vocals, Zander Lamothe (The Zilis) drums and vocals, and Ryan Ethier on bass guitar and vocals.
The music speaks for itself. It’s alive. Full of joy, passion, collaboration, and a vibe that is so contagious, it’s almost impossible not to sing along. When it comes The Wild High’s songs, the ballads are soulful, and the rockers would make even the meanest naysayer tap their feet.
Easy music without a care in the world.
The band’s first single “Luke And Lee” was released last year to much praise. It’s a down and dirty rocker about Jon’s childhood friends getting into trouble. It takes nods from the classic 70s productions we know and love but retains a modern element unique to today.
The second single “I Wanna Get Paid”, is a huge Leon Russell type tune about having hope even in the face of absolute disparity. It also utilizes a modern and vintage tonal palette to create something uniquely theirs. From the slide guitars to the massive chorus’, TWH has it covered.
So come along on the ride with The Wild High. I dare ya. It’s guaranteed to be a good one.

Three-piece shoegaze band Beware Of Dog today share their new single, “Cold”. The song is a warped, heavy cut that was tracked and mixed at the band’s home studio in San Antonio, Texas.
“Cold” is just the fourth single release for the young band and is the first hint of the group’s debut EP, Junkyard which is slated for release this May. More details to follow.
On “Cold” they channel influences from the dark ethereal soundscapes of Glixen, to the shimmering fragility of Winter, creating an enveloping exploration of the moments in life when passion slides into apathy.
The band will celebrate this new single with an all-ages show at The Starlighter in San Antonio on March 22nd. Tickets are $10 at the door.
Beware Of Dog is Jakob Barrios (guitar/vocals), Liseth Rodriguez (drums), and Raul Martinez (bass).
