Justin Bieber Drops Album ‘Swag II’

Less than a day after revealing the project, Justin Bieber dropped “Swag II,” a follow-up to his surprise album that was released with little notice back in July.

The new album features 23 tracks, with guest appearances from Tems, Lil B, Bakar, Hurricane Chris, and Eddie Benjamin. It became available shortly after midnight, initially appearing on YouTube Music before hitting other streaming platforms. Bieber addressed the delay on Instagram, posting, “I’m sorry for the wait their telling me any second” and “Me waiting with u, not baiting u not sure wut the fuckkyyy is going on clicking refreshhhhhh.”

“Swag II” was teased early Thursday morning, with billboards in London and banners in West Hollywood—similar to the promotional tactics used for the original “Swag.” Bieber confirmed the album’s imminent release on Instagram, saying it would drop at midnight. Over the past month, he shared studio photos, hinting at new music, just as he did before the original “Swag.” Reports from Hits Daily Double suggest that “Swag” was a precursor to a more pop-focused album expected later this year, likely referring to “Swag II,” which now brings the total track count to 44, serving as an extension of the first album.

The original “Swag” had 21 tracks and featured collaborations with Gunna, Sexyy Red, Druski, Dijon, Lil B, Cash Cobain, Eddie Benjamin, and Marvin Winans. Bieber co-produced that project with contributions from Tobias Jesso Jr., Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Caesar, mk.gee, Daniel Chetrit, Knox Fortune, and others. Upon release, “Swag” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and achieved Bieber’s biggest streaming week to date. Songs like “Daisies” also debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Yukon” reaching No. 8 and “First Place” landing at No. 52.
