Vevo, the world’s leading music video platform, in partnership with Republic Records, has announced the re-release of Ariana Grande’s ‘Positions (Vevo Official Live Performances)’ to mark the fifth anniversary of her album Positions. The collection features audio from Ariana Grande’s 2021 Vevo Official Live Performances of tracks including “pov,” “positions,” “safety net” (featuring Ty Dolla $ign), “my hair,” “34+35,” and “off the table” (featuring The Weeknd). Vevo’s Official Live Performances are the result of close creative collaboration with artists and their teams, resulting in a series of exclusive and memorable performances.

Vevo has a longstanding history with Ariana Grande, highlighting her in performances from 2013 and 2016, such as “Dangerous Woman,” “Be Alright,” “Leave Me Lonely,” “Everyday,” “Side To Side,” “Greedy,” and “Into You.” In 2020, Ariana was named one of Vevo’s Top 10 Worldwide Most Watched Artists. She also set a Vevo 24-hour viewership record in 2018 with her “thank u, next” video, which garnered 50 million views.

JP Evangelista, SVP of Content, Programming & Marketing at Vevo, shared his excitement: “This was such a standout collaboration and project for us. We’re thrilled to re-release these performances as part of the five-year anniversary of Positions. With her powerful vocals and genuine emotion, these performances stand the test of time—they could have been recorded yesterday. The same energy and style are present throughout the entire Positions album, making it a timeless piece of work. This EP truly showcases Ariana’s lasting impact on music and the industry as a whole. Happy five-year anniversary to Positions from all of us at Vevo.”

Ariana Grande, a Grammy-winning artist and Oscar® and Golden Globe® nominee, made history in 2019 by being the first artist since The Beatles in 1964 to hold the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with “7 Rings,” “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” and “Thank U, Next.” At just 31 years old, she has released six platinum-certified albums and amassed over 55 billion streams, establishing herself as one of the biggest pop icons of her generation.
