“My center, my soul is gone,” Michelle Pfeiffer’s Stacy Clyburn confesses in the first teaser for The Madison, Taylor Sheridan’s newest Paramount+ series. The emotional preview debuted during the Season 2 finale of Sheridan’s hit drama Landman on Sunday.
Pfeiffer delivers the haunting line opposite a previously unannounced character: New York City–based therapist Phil Yorn, portrayed by Will Arnett. It can now be revealed that Arnett will appear as a recurring guest star throughout the series. “You will heal if you let yourself,” Phil tells Stacy, setting the tone for the show’s deeply personal themes.
In search of healing, the Clyburn family relocates from New York City to Montana’s Madison River Valley. As hinted in the teaser — including a brief, Native American–themed exchange — the transition to their new surroundings proves to be a significant adjustment.
Described as Sheridan’s most intimate project to date, The Madison is a family drama centered on grief, resilience, and human connection. The series unfolds across both Montana and Manhattan, exploring the bonds that hold families together even amid profound loss.
Paramount+ announced on Friday that the six-episode first season of The Madison will premiere on March 14. A second season has already been completed.
