Apple TV+ has officially announced the release date for one of its most highly anticipated original films, starring Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz. The streaming service revealed the news along with first-look images during its press day in Santa Monica. The movie, titled Outcome, will premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ on April 10, 2026.
This film marks a significant comeback for director and co-star Jonah Hill, who has been largely absent from Hollywood in recent years. The newly released photos provide an exciting preview of the movie’s world, showcasing Reeves, Diaz, and co-star Matt Bomer in character.
In Outcome, Keanu Reeves portrays Reef Hawk, a beloved Hollywood star whose carefully curated public image is jeopardized when he becomes the target of blackmail involving a mysterious video. The footage threatens to ruin his career, forcing Reef to confront past mistakes and personal demons.
As the crisis unfolds, Reef relies on his lifelong friends—Kyle, played by Cameron Diaz, and Xander, played by Matt Bomer. Jonah Hill appears as Ira, Reef’s crisis lawyer, guiding him through a soul-searching journey to make amends and identify the blackmailer. Hill has described Outcome as a reflection of modern life in the digital age, likening it to a metaphor for how social media can overshadow genuine relationships and influence public perception.
Written by Hill and Ezra Woods, Outcome is produced by Apple Studios, with Adam Merims serving as executive producer (per The Hollywood Reporter).
The film’s cast extends beyond its main stars, featuring appearances from Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Atsuko Okatsuka, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber, and Ivy Wolk. Additionally, Outcome marks Cameron Diaz’s gradual return to acting after a decade-long hiatus.
With the April release date now confirmed, Outcome stands out as one of Apple TV+’s major offerings for the spring season.
