Netflix has officially confirmed the release date for Season 3 of the hit romantic drama series, XO, Kitty, along with exclusive first-look photos. Created by Jenny Han, the series is a highly anticipated spin-off of the popular “To All the Boys” movie trilogy. Fans can mark their calendars for the new season, which will premiere on April 2, 2026, on Netflix.
Excitingly, Netflix unveiled new images via social media, giving fans a sneak peek of what’s to come. On Twitter (now X), the streaming giant shared the photos with the caption, “Don’t freak out, but… XO, KITTY RETURNS APRIL 2.” The platform also released an official synopsis for Season 3, revealing key plot details:
“Kitty returns for her final year at KISS with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And, she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time. But when surprise revelations derail her plans and relationships, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected.”
Season 3 will focus on Kitty Song Covey, portrayed by Anna Cathcart, as she navigates her senior year at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS). The cast also includes Anthony Keyvan, Regan Aliyah, Minyeong Choi, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Hojo Shin, Peter Thurnwald, and more. Additionally, new cast members for this season include Soy Kim, Christine Hwang, and Sule Thelwell.
In an interview with The Wrap in January 2025, Anna Cathcart shared her excitement about the upcoming season. She said, “I’m just so excited to continue her story. I think she has so much growing to do always, and it’s so fun to watch. I hope Kitty always follows her heart, and I know she will because that’s something she’s almost too good at doing; she can’t help herself but follow her heart and go wherever that leads her.”
